Blue Ivy Prep #3

Party Crashers

Rate this book
From the moment I learned she was coming to our school, I had a gut feeling it would end in disaster. Out of all the schools in the world, why did Kaitlin Crosse have to choose ours? Her presence confused my brothers and created tension between them, but I soon realized my initial assumptions about her were completely wrong.

It was me who possessed the flaws of being wild, arrogant, selfish, inconsiderate, and foolish. My bad judgment call in the midst of the school's scandal may have destroyed everything I wanted.

As the world tears Kaitlin apart, my brothers and I find ourselves trapped in a web of lies. Our mother despises her, and even our stepfather's allegiance is uncertain. Kaitlin trusts no one, and who can blame her?

But I refuse to wait for her forgiveness or return. If I want her, I have to take action. Kaitlin needs me, and now, I know I need her too.

All of us do.

*Please note this is a reverse harem and the author suggests you always read the forward in her books. Contains some bullying elements, mature situations, and is recommended for 17+. This is book three of four in a series and the story will continue through future books.

I love books. Not just a little bit, but a lot. Books were my best friends when I was growing up. Books didn’t care if I was new to a town or to a class. They were always there, my trustiest of companions. Until they turned on me and said I had to write them.

I can tell you that my own personal happily ever after included writing books. I’ve always said that an HEA is a work in progress. It’s true in my marriage, my friendships, and in my career. I am constantly nurturing my muse as we dive into new tales, new tropes, new characters and more.

After seventeen years back in Texas, we relocated to the Pacific Northwest in search of seasons, new experiences, and new geography. I can’t wait to discover what life (and my muse) have in store for me.

Maybe writing was always my destiny and romance my fate. After all, my grandmother wasn’t a fan of picture books and used to read me her Harlequin Romance novels.

Friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, friends to enemies to lovers, you name it, I love them and love to write them. I started with Earth Witches Aren’t Easy, the first in the Chance Monroe trilogy, but my characters and I have traveled a long way since I created that urban fantasy world.

One of the series I hear my readers recommend the most is the Untouchable series followed in quick succession by the Vandals, and that just delights me. No lie, whenever one of my readers brings up my wolves, I do a little a fist pump.

I’m active on social media, and I love hearing from readers. Feel free to tag me with a question about any of my books, or just say hi!

So, this was one of my most anticipated reads ever since I finished book two and was left with so many different unknowns about how the story was going to progress! Then the cover came out and I just about self combusted, it's almost criminal how perfect every single cover for this series has been! Now I'm back after finishing and I have SO many thoughts! 🫠

First of all, I didn't expect the book to start off so dang strong! I was on the edge of my seat reading until I knew that everything was ok. I was very sad to see how everything affected KC and her stance on giving the guys a chance. But I was also kind of happy because that meant that our boys had to truly grovel and prove with their actions that they wanted to be with KC in the long run and that she could trust them. I'm not saying that I didn't want them with her but I was happy to see that she made them work for it!

Speaking of, the character growth?! Nothing short of incredible! I had literally the best time watching all of the guys acknowledge the weaknesses they each had in their respective relationships with KC and striving to overcome them! Lachlan still has a way to go but overall their dedication and unwavering loyalty to her gave me butterflies the whole time I was reading! And now that she's acknowledged that she had been holding back I cannot wait to see what a dream team this group becomes in the final book! Also this is more of a note for the series as a whole but I've been loving the slow burn aspect and how each spicy scene we get feels intimate and special the same way it does for the characters! I cannot wait to see more because their sexual chemistry is so freaking good! 🤌🏻🔥

Side note, I totally have a new but potentially solid theory on who the stalker(s) is/are, and while there is one very popular suspect among readers I personally think that option is too obvious. While I wasn't a huge fan of their actions in this book I don't think that they have any truly malicious intentions. Are they handling the changes to KC's life well? Absolutely not but after everything that's happened recently it's not unreasonable? I guess I'm just really hoping that their current attitude is just a phase. I guess we'll find out in the final book but man am I excited to finally get closure on this stalker plot!

That ending though, I'm so conflicted about it. Firstly, HOW DOES SOMETHING LIKE THAT EVEN HAPPEN WITHOUT SOMEONE NOTIFYING HER?! I am REALLY hoping that it was all set up by the perpetrator as a show of good faith because gosh dang it I really want them to turn out to be good! Hopefully this is the beginning of a new path of healing for both of them but man I'll be heartbroken if it's not! 😭 Thankfully, Heather has decided to take pity on us and will be releasing the last book next so we won't have to wait long to see how the story ends for this group! Over the course of these books I've grown very attached to these characters and I can hardly wait to be back with them for the finale! 🫶🏻

Party Crashers by Heather Long is a slow burn reverse harem romance. This is the third book in the Blue Ivy Prep series.

I absolutely love Heather's books! She does an amazing job pulling in from the first chapter and keeping me hooked until the very end. I don't want to give any spoilers away. So, I will just say I am loving the chemistry between KC, Jonas, Lachlan, and Ramsey. Their relationship is messy, but you can't help but root for them. I really enjoyed getting all of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

The book ended on an amazing cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can't wait for the final book in the series Money Shot to be released on August 29, 2023.

I would highly recommend this series if you like contemporary romances, reverse harem romances, or bully romances.

4⭐️ 2.5🌶️

If you are just tuning into the world of Blue Ivy prep, you’ll definitely want to start with the first book in this series — a RH, rockstar, academy romance with a sprinkling of mystery and suspense!

At the end of book 2, KC received some bad news about her baby sister and to distract herself and also connect, she hooked up with Ramsey. That pretty much brings us right to book 3, KC wakes up and heads out for coffee but plans to come back to the suite and talk to all three boys — who have all had some pretty terrible assumptions about her up to this point. She calls Lachlan and leaves a voicemail to let him know to meet her at the suite and to bring Jonas. While leaving the VM, KC is attacked and taken. The boys hear the struggle through her message and immediately go into problem solving and rescue mode. They learn some interesting things as they look for KC, like how much their mother truly despises her, how something seems really off about her relationship with her dad based on what that they thought they knew, and ultimately that they need to set things right and get the truth from the source.

The boys are able to save KC, but there aren’t any clear leads on who took her. And while they all want to get closer to her, her two gal pals and bodyguard have closed ranks making any attempts to repair their relationships exceedingly difficult. But they aren’t prepared to give up at graduation… they pursue her to LA, each prepared to do what is necessary to gain her forgiveness, keep her safe, and hopefully win her heart — a little friendly, brotherly competition won’t be too bad, right?

I have definitely waffled on which guy I liked most at different times, but it’s started evening out quite a bit for me. I still have a soft spot for Jonas, but they all have their special quirks that I love. Getting more hints at the difficult family dynamic and the ever present stalker was a wild ride, and of course it wouldn’t be a Heather Long mid series book without a cliffy! So buckle up and enjoy it and then come back soon for book 4!

The story moves with the flow of a movie, it feels like an excuse to read it just as watching a good movie. Heather's bangs are on point every time she comes up with a story, and this one is really going on a very interesting turn of events. The cliffhanger is nice shades of grey that quickens my heart and makes me earn for more.

The writing is superb, made the story flow like a river and continued from where the second book ended. The twists kept the story on the edge at the beginning, and when things settled a little, it was all fun and excitement brewing for more. KC and the guys develop a steady relationship and all are working hard to make things work.

New characters are met and they seem very interesting to know further if the author decides to write them. Dix seemed like a very suspicious guy and I didn’t like him from the start so that may also be the case. All the guys seem to have a total turn around where KC is concerned and that’s very positive. I appreciate the efforts put in here.

It will be fun to see where this conclusion is going to take place and what else Heather has in store to reveal all the unanswered questions left so far. What puzzle pieces are going to fit where.

This series is the epitome of slow burn, and I’m here for it. I love KC, not only is she smart, sassy and a freaking rock star, but when the tw@ts coming crawling back she makes them work for it. She doesn’t just let them back in, and I love that they actually see their mistakes and try to work towards actually deserving to even be in her life. This story is so fun and I have so many freaking questions. I loved getting to see them outside of school, see Pen and getting more back story of her dad. It baffles me that the guys never looked into him…idk what’s going to happen in book 4. I’m blaming their mom lol that’s my guess anyway!

4.5 ⭐ unsure on rounding at the moment

Still really enjoying the series - - there are lots of brief moments between the characters and I'm enjoying seeing them reconnect after some harsh truths, but kind of left me wanting more time seeing their connections build with each other, the last third's pacing felt awkward with scenes abruptly end with time jumps - - but then that fng cliffhanger 😖 this series continues to have its hooks in me

Loved this book. Soo many emotions as I read it. Kc really goes through a lot but manages to come through it all and stay sane. Great story and a few surprises along with some seriously steamy scenes.

My heart

This story pulls at every single one of my heart strings. This story is so emotional and raw and just absolutely amazing. This is a college, step brother, rock star, why choose romance. This is book 3 of a series and does end on a cliffhanger. You have to read the books in order. We get multiple POV’s. KC, Ramsey, Lachlan, and Jonas.

Heather has created such an amazing world for KC and her boys. I can't believe we're at book 3. The plot and writing are superb, and I never saw that ending coming. I'm curious to see how it all plays out. Looking forward to what will surely be an epic conclusion.

Party Crashers

This is the third installment in the four book Blue Ivy prep series. This book gives us what we've all been waiting for. A lot of realizations and revelations for the guys. Some good grovel. And relationships moving forward. The build up to a lot of this as made it all the sweeter. Especially with the way the last book ended. I was not expecting how this book started off I don't want to spoil it but the ending to the last book led me to believe something else completely was happening. And then this book just kind of took off with some action in the beginning and I was so glued. Taking on a ride lol. It was in three parts which I really enjoyed. I felt like the characters their relationship in the stories made made a lot of progress in these three parts. I just found this to be an enjoyable read that kept me glued throughout. The cliffhanger is not too bad at all but it's going to leave to some very interesting things that that I think we've been waiting to happen on other fronts in KC life. I really love this series, These books always suck me in and the characters and plot very well done. Highly recommend. The last book is on pre-order for the end of August.

Book 1-3

So I saw a rockstar rh, but with the rockstar being the FMC? Say less. So imagine my disappointment when I started the 1st book and this shit isn’t really about a rockstar.

Me thinking I was getting a badass, takes no shit and queen type heroine and I get THIS? I don’t know how this bitch made it in the industry, especially with all the haters and bad press she gets.

🚫 KC smiling and waving at everyone that made eye contact when she started school (even to Lachlan after he bullied her), I got hives out of second hand embarrassment

🚫how in the word wasn’t she dropped by the label? She went to school and put the band on hiatus without a guaranteed comeback and was CONSTANTLY getting bad press

🚫Jonas has more passion for music than her, and we only got to see her “rockstar” side because of him

🚫her music being described as “bubblegum rockstar pop” 💀

🚫no revenge taken whatsoever and she started a “relationship” with them but she “doesn’t trust them” and they “hurt her” so why did she start a relationship and went to college because of them may you ask? I don’t know

🚫her letting Lachlan kiss her and shit while thinking he has a girlfriend, have some respect for yourself PLEASE

🚫the daddy issues

My boy Jonas got the short end of the stick, he was the only one actually trying to have some sort of relationship with her and she was way harder on him than she was with the other two. No, the bitch really went and fucked his brother MULTIPLE times while my boy is just like “I miss you” “I want to be with you”. It’s been 3 books GET JONAS SOME!

Ramsay is meh. Lachlan is annoying as fuck, i wouldn’t mind if he got run over so he could shut up for a bit. From what I remember in book 1: he pushed her into a pond, cut off her bra, insulted her tatas and his side hoe took a pic and posted it (distribution of cp? Don’t know her) but by book 3 the pic is all but forgotten and she is mad not about him showing her tatas to the world but about the insults? Talk about insecure, I thought a “rockstar” (since she was 12, yea, I know) had thicker skin.

Payton stalking ways and bullying not having some sort of legal consequences? Not even from the label? Make it make sense.

I’m not even going to get on how Gibs has been in their life for like 15 years and they never googled him, or heard rumors about his sperm donating ways because “mommy said so”

What is the main focus of the plot? The author just keeps throwing shit to the wall to see what sticks. Stepbrothers? No. Secret society? No. Mommy in the cult? Maybe. Her daddy and his lack of condom use? Apparently.

Why the fuck did they never notice their mother was certifiable insane? I think it’s pretty fucking obvious that woman has something wrong with her on a deep level.
Who the fuck is Kelly?
What happened to RJ and Payton? And why doesn’t anybody care?
And when is she going to realize that Dix is a creepy fucker?

Tossed in the towel at 67%. I'm so disappointed I didn't enjoy this since I'd waited so long for the series to be complete before starting. It just got too tedious. Things kept happening never to be mentioned again (secret society, RJ and Payton). The whole friends gathering at the dinner to sit in judgement was annoying. The back and forth with the brothers was exhausting at this point in the story. Especially the excuse that they obeyed their mom and never looked up their rockstar stepdad on the internet in all the years. Come on. I like outlandish shit but seriously. Not for me.

Eh, I didn't like this one as much as the first two books. I felt disconnected from KC and the guys. The whole Dix thing has gotten weird. I just struggled with the characters and storyline in this one a little. Hoping book 4 is different.

I consumed this book via Audiobook

Time: 10hrs 8min

Duet Narration: Michelle Sparks, JF Harding, Lucas Allen

Multi first person POV

Book 3 out of 4 of Blue Ivy Prep series ( completed series )

Besides the roomie moments with KV and Jonas in book, I think this is my fave book so far. Not only do we get more information but the characters, Aka the douchebags 3 get caught up on all the information we already know. ( yay everyone is on the same page) but there's still so much to uncover and find out

Thoughts from last book that continued to this book

Ramsey , he's growing on me but I'm still unsure about him.

Lochlan is giving me the ick and he can end up in a fridge for all I care . He litterally does the same thing In this book that he did in book 2... I know he has to redeem himself to KC but I have no idea if he's ever going to grow on me

Jonas has my heart. I love his character growth over the last couple of books. I'm really big on team Jonas.

Alot of time has gone by in this book and the majority of it takes place during summer vacation so we are out of the school scene for a while. It's definitely a redemption book and alot more character building. We also get to see more of the side characters that we met in the first 2 books which was nice and learn more about KCs family.

It's still very much a slow burn, but it's there. Spice Rating is 3 rounded up.

Just like the other books this one leaves on a cliffhanger.

Currently the audiobook for book 4 isn't out yet but I might just have to read it to see what happens because of that ending

4⭐️ I really enjoyed this. I was kept interested the whole story. The characters were interesting and entertaining.

3🌶 supper slow burn but it's starting to pick up more

4⭐️🗣 narrators did a great job. There's lots of side characters in this book aside from the main ones and you could really tell who was who.

I really enjoyed this book and I can't wait to see where the story takes us. I recommend this book for someone who wants to dip their toes into a bully style / step brother romance and would be a great starter for someone. It is also why choose so the FMC is interested in more than 1 person.

*Tiny Spoilers Ahead*

I swear I get more and more obsessed with this series! I’m not going to lie, I have a million questions after that ending because why would they not mention anything?! Who thought this was a genuine good idea?? I’m getting ahead of myself but seriously just why?!?

So this story picked up where we left off in, Mad Boys, and let’s just say it’s starts off with a bang! Our poor KC can just never catch a break! If it isn’t one thing it’s another and this whole book honestly just had my heart hurting for her! Despite her upbringing she loves hard and she just needs everyone she loves to be healthy and happy. Sadly, it seems things never really go the way she hopes! I am hopeful for her future though and towards the end of the book it seemed like things might just be turning around! 🙏

If you are like me you have been waiting for some groveling and let’s just say we definitely got a nice healthy dose in this book! They all probably could grovel just a bit more but I’m also impatient and want her to find her happiness lol!

I love the guys! They are all extremely different but I love them all! I probably loved Lachlan the most in this book! Sometimes you need that extra push and he wasn’t afraid to try and get her to face her inner demons! Plus, who doesn’t love ninja kisses? 😏

Overall, I am beyond excited to see how the series is going to end! I love that KC has such a strong support system and I am ready for her to finally get the love she deserves but also being in a healthy and stable headspace to accept that love!

Also, I have to say it! I didn’t like Dix in the beginning, he’s always given me some ick vibes but holy wow are the alarm bells going off now! I don’t know what the story is there yet but I’m a firm advocate of her aborting that mission and getting as far away from him as possible lol!

If you’ve not read the series yet it is crucial you read it in order! If you love an academy rockstar romance with a bunch of alpha a-holes then you’ll love this! I highly recommend!

Warning: Review may contain Spoilers.

If you haven't read the first two books in this series, STOP! Go back and read them. This series needs to be read in order.

At the end of the last book, KC gets some bad news about her sister Pen's treatments. Ramsey finds her in the rain, crying hysterically and brings her back to his suite to get her calmed and dry. What happens is far more than that and when he wakes in the morning she's gone. That brings us to this book which is in two parts.

Ramsey has just woken up and KC is gone, his brothers walk in and are demanding explanations, but all he wants to do is find KC. A voice mail to Lachlan is their only clue and the end of that message scares them. They all head out to trace her steps. Finding not her but clues by a coffee shop she doesn't usually go to.

Ramsey gets campus security and the Dean involved, although even with Lachlan's voicemail it was a chore to even get them to believe something had happened to her. As security continues their investigation, they guys go back to the dorms to try to contact everyone who might have seen her. It's the call from their mother that Ramsey answers without looking that gives them the answer they were looking for, unfortunately it's not a good one. A ransom note sent to Gibs that their mother has convinced him is a prank.

They start thinking of ways to pay the ransom while looking at security footage for clues. Realizing they missed her by only five minutes this morning, they come to the decision to call Gibs. When he doesn't pick up Ramsey's call even after the third try, they all start calling.

I couldn't believe the level of denial on Gibs part. It so obvious that his wife hates KC she's weaved so many stories about her and now the guys are unraveling and finding them untrue. Gibs does finally pay the ransom and they get the coordinates of where KC is.

Obviously, security around KC is going to ramp up throughout the final month until graduation. Along with plans to head to LA right after.

The guys are still reeling from the discovery that Gibs has six other children that aren't in the news. Lachlan has stalker moves in mind, Jonas wants to inch his way back to friendship and Ramsey, well, he's not sure how to approach KC anymore.

It's very interesting how Dix is even more hostile to the guys than he was before. I am tending to agree with Jonas that he's jealous.

I loved this entire book, from the moment of the rescue, to visiting Pen in the hospital, to working on the song for Pen right to the OMG ending.

I really can't wait for the next and final book in this series.

This book starts right in on the action. After the events of Mad Boys, Ramsey is trying to adapt to the new information he’s discovered about KC. All three of the boys are struggling with the way they’ve treated her and the things they assumed about her.

The story starts off with a mystery and the suspense is very well-paced. This book is heavy on the emotions, for a variety of reasons. We see KC grow up even more than she already had, and we see her starting to assert herself and make choices based on what she wants and needs. She struggles with wanting to fix things for everyone, but those who genuinely care about her are still in her corner. Her relationships with the boys takes a backseat due to their history and everything else that’s happened.

I love that KC has her priorities in order. Her family is her top priority and everything she does shows it. She doesn’t instantly forgive the guys for the way they treated her and they have a lot of work to do. I enjoyed seeing the efforts they made to show her that they mean what they say, but also seeing how much they grow to care about KC’s family. I’m looking forward to reading about what happens next!

This book was absolutely ahmazing. I could not wait to get my hands on this book after the cliffhanger in Book 2, because that ending was something else. This arthurs writing never ceases to amaze me the words & story just flowed so smoothly, it's why she's one of my favorite arthur's.

This picks up where Book 2 left off and hit the ground running. I don't think it slowed down much there was always something going on or something happening.

Poor KC I feel for this poor girl she can't catch a break as something happens that results in her getting hurt, but it did bring to light how Ramsey, Lachlan and Jonas felt towards her and for them to want to make amends and possibly see if there's a chance for them, but then you have Dix...hmm what is his deal? Either he wants KC to himself or what? I'm so confused about him. This does end on a very shocking cliffhanger that had me saying wtf😱. I need Book 4 Money Shot stat to find out just wtf is going on.

My level of obsession with KC, Jonas, Lachlan, and Ramsey just continues to grow with every book! This is by far one of my favorite Heather Long series to date. She definitely came in swinging with the beginning of this book and did not hold back the punches! So much goes on in this third book and I am here for it! 👏🏼

The character growth in this series is one of my favorite aspects! The guys are FINALLY starting to get it together and be who KC needs to be. I’ve enjoyed seeing them grovel and work for KC’s affection after all of their misdeeds. I really am enjoying this sloooow burn and it just makes the spice so much better when we do finally get it!

Y’all, can we just talk about that ending though?! How does that even happen?! Something is obviously going on and I can’t wait to get to the bottom of everything! I’ll be anxiously awaiting Money Shot and to see how Heather is going to wrap up this series!

Party Crashers brings us up to book 3 of the Blue Ivy Prep series and if you haven't read the first 2 books, please go back and read them. You absolutely need to. Having first met KC in The Untouchables series, I knew back then that I wanted/needed her story. While we see a little of Aubrey, we don't see much of Yvette so I am now at the point of investment where I am going to need stories for each of them too please and thank you!!!

This book begins to piece together certain aspects of the story that I had questions for. But in true and typical Heather Long fashion, I now have more questions and with only 1 more book left, a desperate need for answers.

KC's connection with the dbags3, Ramsey, Lachlan and Jonas, turns a corner in this book and I am loving the dynamic the boys each have with KC. Each one of them is so different and they bring a kind of normalcy, something she desperately craves, to KC's absolute rollercoaster of a life. Lachlan with his impulsive ninja skills, Jonas and his love language of music, and Ramsey seems to provide a feeling of safety and steadiness. And lets face it, KC definitely needs and deserves all that!!!

I am beyond excited for Money Shot but also feeling sad because when it does come out at the end of August, that's it. It's over. Having heard that the next few years are already planned out, here I am with my fingers and toes crossed that Aubrey and Yvette are in there somewhere.xx

Oh Heather. Wowza. I could not put this book down from start to finish. I love love LOVE this series. I pretty much say this about every Heather series but I swear this is my favorite. The guys. KC. The whole plot of this book is just so well planned and is perfect. Okay back to the book. Poor KC. I feel like she never catches a break. This girl. But man those guys. They are making me jealous. I want to be in her spot…👌🏼 the boys have done basically a 180 since we have met them in problem child. And oh my gosh, they make me swoon. The slow burn is top notch but boy it’s going to be worth it. ALSO! This stalker…my goodness this is the way to my heart. Love me a good mystery being a crime junkie at heart…my mind is working a million miles trying to figure this out 👀👀 I will say this last book will be PHENOMENAL AND I AM HERE FOR IT.

Heat: 2/5

Lachlan is still my favorite because he's just unhinged, and for me, those characters are the most honest about their agenda, they mean what they say and they are unapologetic.

Jonas and Ramsey are a close second, don't get me wrong. They are the sweet to Lachlan's sassy.

The mysteries continue, KC keeps getting hurt. I need to know who is doing it. I have an idea, but I can't wait to see how Heather unravels everyone and ties them all back together into a neat bow.

The boys' mom can get f-d - when Heather makes a bad guy, she makes them really odious (Uncle Sharpe, anyone?). I'm getting heated just thinking about it! Onto book 4...!

Brilliant

I've been desperate for this book ever since devouring book 2 after the cliffhanger ruined me. Party Crashers didn't disappoint. I loved every word, every page and every moment... This book is just brilliant. I love the mystery, the plot that keeps your mind wondering who and why, leaving you thinking of the most rational and yet absurd theories. I've raged, gotten a bit teary, had a lump in my throat, yet I've gotten a bit hot (the spice definitely picks up!), Smiled and laughed without realising. This book is a whirlwind of emotions, so well written that it draws a good variety from you.
One of the things I've loved most about this series has been KC, admiring how resilient she has been throughout. This book you get to see this and so much more that you can't help feel for her and love her. She's definitely one of my favourite FMCs. I love how the guys kinda pull themselves together and start to be a good support system for her. I love how each guy brings and gives KC something different. I think I have a favourite but with them being so different, you love them for different reasons so I just can't pick. I will say that this cover has had me drooling A LOT. Ramsay is HOT AF.
I cannot wait for the next book although knowing it's the last, I don't feel ready to let these go. Highly recommend!

I really love this series and book by book it becomes even better. In this one, we get more of everything. The banter between the brothers is so good, i laughed so much while reading. They really do have this special bond, they hate eachother but they would do anything for eachother. There are a couple of scenes where you think they won't stick up for eachother but oh yes they will. It really warmed my heart even tho they are very possessive about KC they are willing to share but only among the brothers nobody else. Also Jonas OMG he is so cute, the way he tries to be so honest and open with her, how he shows it, he's grown so much already. Lachlan with his ninja kisses is just the right guy to push KC in all the best possible ways and Ramsey is her save place. They all fit together. It just IS right!

In this book KC's life is even more in danger than before. It becomes aware to everybody now, that somebody is out to get her. Not only do her friends come to support her but also the guys and her other family. We get some more interactions between the guys and their mom and Gibs, which broke my heart a couple of times but these men have KC's back. They will do whatever it takes to bget back in het good graces. It was amazing, i can't wait for the last book.

Fast Paced & Relashionship Focused Installment

Very fast-paced installment in the Blue Ivy Prep series that the author broke into three parts. A mix of everything in each one. Characters are fleshed out even more, especially the brothers and a few of KC's siblings as well. While there is some steam, the main focus of this romance is their relationships.

The first part of the book has another life altering and deadly situation. Plus, the brothers start realizing their system as Douchebags has been well earned as she divulges secrets about her life.

The second part sees all the brothers working hard on getting back into KC's good graces. Lachlan upping his stalking game in Los Angeles. KC allowing Jonas (still my favorite character) into her life as he settles into a mentally comfortable understanding. Ramsey helps steer the brothers in a more family direction as KC and him start into their own relationship. All of it teeters on the edge as a showdown dripping in hatred starts.

The third part, KC and the brothers start a new phase in their lives, together. A mix of bad and good news is sprinkled throughout as the four work towards a future.

A twist to a performance leads the cliffhanger into the conclusion in Money Shot.

No more secrets.

YES! This book is finally going in the direction I needed it to with the guys! lol. Ramsey, Jonas and ... for the most part Lachlan are finally getting the stick out of their rear and learning the TRUTH about our amazing, kindhearted KC.

Theirs some crazy twist and turns and an epic kidnapping I was not expecting! Things are getting worse for our girl and yet she still is holding strong, marching on. With the results of her baby sister, KC is determined to do everything she can and with the nagging of their music manager, this ends up resulting in a benefit concert to raise money for Children with Cancer.

Starting college, getting to know the guys on a much more personal level, helping her family, trying to come to terms with the fact she deserves way better parents, and ready to start anew - this book is THE book we have been waiting for so far in this series! Only, just when things are starting to finally go her way, KC is met with a HUGE slap in the face at the end no one saw coming.

Man, I can't believe the author ended it where she did. I seriously cannot wait for the next book! I am so ready for her to just really give it to the people that deserve it. KC is an amazing character and I just love her. The guys are finally in the know and see the treasure they have in front of them. So ready for the next book!!!

*Overall 4.5/5
*Heat? 3/5
*Fast Burn
*Multiple first person POV
*MFMM Romance
*Ends on cliffhanger

KC and the boys are back and I couldn’t be happier - well until that cliffy. Heather Long continues to pull me into the tangled web that is Blue Ivy Prep. I really love when the FMC doesn’t let the guys get away with treating her badly. KC definitely makes them work for it and it was giving me life!

The cliffy isn’t an OMGWTF is even happening right now moment, but it is a huge gut punch that I did not see coming. I knew something big was going to happen, but talk about a curveball!

I can’t wait to see how this story continues!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - so good!

The plot thickens...

This series keeps leaving me with more and more questions, while the intrigue keeps me motivated to find the answers. Truly love this series. KC, the family she's made, and her guys that are working to redeem themselves have captured my heart, and I can't wait for the resolutions in the next book!

Party Crashers picks straight back up following the ending of Mad Boys and when I tell you I was hooked from the beginning.. definitely not what I expected there! Poor KC just can’t catch a break and as a result my questions have questions on who’s behind her constant targeting.

I absolutely loved the individual relationship and character development between KC and Lachlan, Jonas and Ramsey. Their eyes were finally wide open that not all is as it seems and finally, finally taking KC at face value with truths and secrets revealed. I also love KC’s relationships with her siblings and we got to meet another one here that’s been mentioned in past books and oh my heart, that along side the ongoing health issues with Pen had me emotional.

KC’s Mum is once again making some extremely questionable choices and I’m looking forward to her situation being explored further. Dix for me right now has a huge question mark, I’m getting vibes that I don’t want to have because I loved him so much when he first came on the scene, but these red flags are waving wildly at me..

Now the ending, Heather I just need to have a word with whoever put that whole thing, you know what thing I’m talking about, together, who possibly had the AUDACITY because I’m ready to throw hands for my girl KC and something tells me I won’t be alone in doing so in Money Shot!
