This was chaotic, childish, and porny. The writing wasn’t bad, good for a short. I was expecting the forbidden element from the teacher/student trope, but nada. Wasn’t feeling it. Some parts of the kinky blood play sex was a turn on though :) Anyway, it’s an erotica so the dynamic between the two is all sexual. Angry? sex. Sad? sex. No communication, only sex. Even though this kind of relationship is not my cuppa tea, I’ve expected it, and I have a soft spot for eternal love, so yeah this was okay. Low 3 ⭐️

A MM Dark & bloody romance novella! That cover & blurb attracted me right in! What do you get mixing an ancient, sassy, shit-stirrer vampire & a grumpy, irritable Professor? This hot af story, 1 of the hottest standalone novella I've read!
For being a novella, it was filled with banter, Sexy scenes ( Love me blood play & vers 🔥🔥🔥🔥.5) & blood, can't forget that! I also found out that eye teeth mean canine lol.
I've got so many questions about this world & of Nico's siblings 👀🤨.

Fast, wild vampiric ride
Oof! I'm giving this 5* stars because, despite it's shorter length, this is one heck of a wild ride! I'm still sort of processing everything and that, to me, is the sign of a good story. Don't expect a lot of world building - the entire story takes place on a college campus and a deluxe penthouse apartment. Well, except for the epilogue but we're not counting that. What makes this story so intriguing is that it's all about the interactions of the two MCs. Nico is a bored vampire - centuries old although he looks more like just another university student. Xavier, or Professor X, is literally the embodiment of a grumpy, old man. Although only in his early 50's, he is completely bored and frustrated with his life and he takes his ire out on everyone around him. No one wants to mess with the acerbic bastard - until Nico! To say that they are like oil and water would be putting it nicely - more like fire and gasoline - because when they come together it's literally explosive! Mind games and intense, almost brutal sex, they push and pull at each other in the best ways - and by best I mean crazy, impulsive, irrational, volatile ... You get the picture! Truly a wild ride and I was there for all of it! Definitely give this a go if you like unique storylines and mindfudges (have to play nice for the Zon bots 😁)

Rene and Bond never disappoints with her books I swear!! This book has content warnings so please read them if you have triggers of any kind.
I had so many things running through my mind while reading this. At first, I thought it was just going to be your simple Teacher/Student dark romance but it is so much more! I definitely learnt a thing or two about myself reading this.
Absolutely love Prof X and Nico. Hands down one of my favorite couples Rene and Bond has given us. Their chemistry is amazing. Undeniable connection between them and the tension will have you sweating. The plot was awesome, easy to follow and set at a great pace. I knew nothing about this book going into it which is how I prefer it and it made reading this so much better because the anticipation will have you at the edge of your seat.
I have to have more of this, I will be stalking to see if we get more of this and I hope to gawd we do because I need it all. Well done ladies, another banger book!

I enjoyed this so much! Nico was a bored and a very old vampire, he had pretty much studied every subject a college could teach. Until he overheard a conversation about a class called Horology. With a bit of curiosity about the subject of time and some mind meddling the lady in admissions he was now enrolled for the class.
Nico was a little twisted and sassy towards his new professor. Xavier known as Professor X or Mr. X was a grumpy angry older man that had no time to put up with jokes about what he was teaching.
These two had me laughing. Nico was the sassy seductive sunshine and X was the grumpy unhappy professor. Once Nico set his sights on X he knew he wanted him to be his for eternity. This was steamy with some blood play, hint vampire, of course there would be.
This was way too short, I wanted so much more of these two characters and Nico’s siblings!

I literally could not stop reading this book, as soon as I started it I wasn’t putting it down until it was finished.
2 of my fave authors writing another story together… I ran to it rather than walked as these 2 are a match made in Heaven or Hell whichever you prefer 😉
This story was everything I needed right now, a fast, high heat story between a vampire and a grumpy ass teacher. The way Nico knows how to push all of X’s buttons had me seriously laughing out loud.
Vampires have always been by go to in the supernatural world, so when I need something that will grip me I go straight to the vamps 🖤 this book gave me everything I wanted and more.

The story is fast paced and a wickedly delicious.
Xavier is a professor at a prestigious University. He’s successful and good looking.
While he lacks for nothing in the materialistic sense. His life is pretty empty and predictable.
He’s grumpy and basically dislikes everyone.
Nico is young looking vampire who is bored out of his mind.
He decides to take a class and in Horology for kicks and giggles.
Nico enjoys getting on Professor Xavier’s nerves. The push and pull between them excites Nico.
The annoyance with them starts to take a darker turn.
And the down and dirty really starts.
Do not read in public and keep a cool drink on hand.

2 of my favorite authors have banded together for a nice little twist on an old classic, the grumpy/sunshine trope. This time spinning it with a very grumpy/ pissed off college professor and a bouncy, yet bored, student who happens to be a vampire.
Xavier doesn’t know how much he needs Nico until he literally bursts into his life. The curmudgeon Horology professor (that word doesn’t mean what you think it means) is suddenly bombarded with an onslaught of naughty thoughts of his student. And Nico is doing what he can to bring X down to his knees and make him realize there’s more to life than just sludge coffee and being at a job he doesn’t like. Really enjoyed this story, just wish it was longer.

The professor was married.. to a woman. He has been divorced for over 20 years. He's not looking for a relationship, let alone one with a man.
When Crissy and Rachel get together, I know I'm going to love it. But this was next level love!!! I just never wanted it to end!! I hope that, if we can't get more X and Nico, we can at least get more vamp love from the dynamic duo!!!!

This MM vampire novella was just absolutely hilarious add the smexy times an it was perfect !
When these 2 authors get together , they create masterpieces! Not only is the story great but the comedy will have you laughing out loud & those steamy scenes are just deliciously dark
Nico may be centuries old, but his youth is what's attractive. X to me is the definition of grumpy silver fox . Both men extremely dominant in their own ways . I'd definitely like to see more of a paranormal co-write from the authors .

What will you do if you have to live forever?? Nico here has studied every available course known to Mankind but when he is strolling through a town he comes across a new course named Horology, and his interest piques. Now comes Xavier who seems to be a very interesting character and teaches Horology. I laughed out loud when Nico and Xavier meet for the first time. The short story is so amazing to read and not to forget spicy too. Epilogue is just epic. Enjoy the book, it’s really written sweetly.

Fate brings these two together and changes both their lives starting with some filthy dreams and ending with forever together.

Absolutely incredible mm vampire short story. I loved the grumpy professor and snarky vampire tropes used. X has lived a lonely life and he feels like no one can tolerate him. That is until nico comes into his class and suddenly he finds himself both irritated and intrigued by the man. So much so that he starts dreaming of him and such filthy delicious things. The spice was perfect and I loved the way they fell for each other. Highly recommend if you love vampires, praise and mm.

It was fine until they threw in some daddy kink. Really wish authors would start putting that in their content warning, cause I wouldn’t have even bought it.

I really enjoy when these authors write together. As soon got a chance I jumped right in . I am not really big fan m/m books I didn’t mine this one . I love supernatural books.this is very quick read and All I can say is that if you're into supernatural then you will certainly love this book!

Quick and dirty
Xavier and Nico are a great combination. This story is down and dirty between a professor and his new student that happens to be a vampire. There is blood, biting, mind control and some steamy scenes. It all ends with a Happy Eternity 😊
