In Saint Gabriel City, the rule of the Four Families ends now.

They’re bottom-feeding criminals pretending to be the model of the American dream.

They suck the City dry to serve themselves and the elite class that licks their boots day in and day out.

They murdered my parents out of sheer, unbridled greed.

And now, they’ve dared to take Zach from me.

With my boys, my family, and the Shadows by my side, I’ll finish this fight. No more dancing around the corporate boardroom—we’ve come to destroy the Families, and we’ll give it everything we’ve got.

And we’ll continue to run the halls of Holywell Academy while we do it.

Peter Hargraves, Andrea Ferrero, and James Spencer—I’m fucking coming for you, and your sons will be by my side to the bitter end.

This is a New Adult, college-aged dark academy romance. It is the third and final book in the trilogy and ends with a HEA. It is also a WhyChoose romance, which means our heroine has multiple love interests, and she will not have to choose between them. As always, this series is for readers age 18+ and contains a ton of foul language, very steamy scenes, and violent themes. If you’ve read Storm the Gates (A Knight’s Revenge Book 1) and Seize the Castle (A Knight’s Revenge Book 2) and want to see how Jolie and the boys get to their happy ending, jump in!

Ok, so this one was my least favourite. I feel like the book could’ve been half this long, it felt like the author plugged sex scenes as fillers and it felt really unnatural at certain moments. Like we get it, you’re horny, now where’s the plot? 3/5

The whole series deserves an infinite more stars, hands down one of the best, if not the best bully romance

I am literally heart broken about the fact that the series ended. The series was absolutely phenomenal and I f*cking adore, love and respect Jolie. The girl is the epitome of strength, sass, badassery, intelligence, clever brain. I loved the boys though I did continuously cuss the three throughout book one and Bennett throughout book 2 ,to grow a pair of titanium balls and stand against their emotionally, psychologically and mentally abusive birth givers but I loved their tenacity and strength to tolerate and bear the pressure and grief their sperm and eg donors gave them, though I also felt that Bennett was let away a bit too easily after his jerkish ways.

One of the best thing about the series is that we get to see Jolie not getting distracted or succumbing to horniness in book 1 and 2 or getting dicktamized or hell not thinking with her vagina unlike seen in a lot of bully romance tropes with apparently strong badass fmc.

This whole series is nothing less than masterpiece. Chunks and Chunks of respect and love to the author :))

I went into reading this series blind. I read the blurb of the first and thought why not? Let's give it a try. I was so glad that two books were out and the third was not far away.
For Fans of Hannaford Prep this is for sure a book you should read.

When I read Hannaford Prep my biggest issue was the age of the main characters. Here the main characters are a little older, but it's still a issue for me. Because they are ruthless at an age of 17 or 18 when the series starts. I understand that both series are put into an Academy/College setting and it is kind of needed for the stories. Still I think that the main characters are too young to have so much life experience. That comes with the time you have lived.

I liked the Miller family and how they took Jolie in and are protective of her. They don't enable her but make her capable. Jolie is a strong, intelligent FMC who has trained hard for her plans. She is sassy and never forget to focus on her main goal.

Max and Mari are cool side characters. Max had the same training that Jolie got. Mari was a little more sheltered. But because she loves Carmen, her family makes her life hell. Mari has the biggest personality and skill growth in this book.

Frankie is a fun character. He is a psycho but on the other hand, he is very loveable. I'm looking forward to Max's and Frankie's story, and if there will be more than two people involved in this relationship. I also like the dynamics between Mari and both guys.

In my opinion the first two books were the best and the third book was weaker than the other. When I reread the third book, it kind of dragged. I skipped the smutty scene and the plot still dragged. But it is an okay finale for this series. And I'm sure, that I will reread this series as often as I reread Hannaford Prep!

I have been waiting for this book for what feels like forever but hey, that's what happens when you binge an incomplete series that you end up being obsessed with! I was more than ready to watch Jolie and the Shadows stop pulling their punches and to begin their attack phase of take prisoners. And with Bennett finally onboard the Jojo train, all of the heirs are now ready to take down the remaining heads of the families once and for all! ♟💪🏻

This book picks up right where we left off and can I just say how impressive it is that Elizabeth is able to have so many side characters that all feel so unique and in depth with their personalities that they seem to take on lives of their own. I'm not just talking about those in the inner circle including Dom, Laura, Max, Frankie, and Mari. I'm talking about even smaller side characters like their tech team comprised of Zepp, Silver, and Marcus, Shadows Kara and Julie, Bennett's mom Bridgette and her bodyguard Martinez, and even the antagonist side characters that continued to drive me crazy, Harper and Chad. With so many extra characters that all appear pretty frequently it can be easy to gloss over them to ensure that the main characters continue to shine. These characters however are so fleshed out each with their own stories that I can definitely see the possibility for multiple spin offs in this world later on down the line!

Now to discuss Jojo and her hot harem of men. Jolie is still an absolute beast of a queen and I love that a consistent theme in these books is that the guys are always the ones having to hold her back and not the other way around, very refreshing! 🤣 Come for her and she has no issue, but any slight against her men and she is ready and willing to destroy lives! Basically, Jojo is my spirit animal and I wanna be like her when I grow up, no cap. Moving on, I was so happy to finally have Bennett all in to complete the harem and his complete 180 was everything I didn't know that I needed! His attitude in the earlier books made it difficult for me to see the appeal but wow, I get it now. His possessiveness and complete obsession was so hot, not to mention that revenge scene, iykyk! 😏 Just like I had anticipated, these three made incredible team when it came to taking care of Jolie, no matter what the combination was! I can't decide if I even had a favorite spicy scene because they were all so hot every single time but I think it would have to be between Bennett's revenge or Noah's student/teacher role play! And per usual, the guys and their banter with each other and Max as he continuously riled them up had me continuously cracking up!

The same can be said anytime there was a group conversation happening in general really, there were a bunch of moments where I found myself laughing out loud due to some of the back and forth these characters were having with each other. This found family is second to none and I know that I will be thinking about these characters for a long time to come. And our queen Elizabeth has already confirmed that we will be getting one of the stories we've all been begging for since book two, Frankie and Max! Those two are some of my favorite characters in the series because I adore their personalities and their energies are top tier! I've been super curious to know what happened with them beforehand and I already know that their story is going to be absolutely delicious!

I'm a bit sad that this series has come to an end because it is definitely a new favorite of mine but what a wild journey it has been! Filled with tons of action from start to finish, a fierce and powerful FMC, hot possessive men, a top tier found family, endearing and charismatic side characters, a riveting revenge plot years in the making, and banter for days, this will be one of my go to academy RH recommendations for years to come! It's a new goal of mine to work my way through Elizabeth's backlist because I'm obsessed with her story telling and will definitely be keeping up with all of her releases from here on out! 🤍

This final book is getting the full five stars just because this whole series is bloody phenomenal and I binged the whole entire thing in a day, I was that invested in the story. I totally recommend reading this i couldn't put this down and I'm so sad it's now over. This is a series I will probably read again in the future I enjoyed it that much.

Here we see Jolie, Noah, Zach and Bennett all finally on the same page and totally invested in there relationship as well as the drive and desire to topple the current status-quo grinding there mutual enemies to dust and there totally ruthless which I loved.

The might of the Knight and everyone behind Jolie work together as a team to achieve there goals and every one of Jolie's men is right by her side supporting and loving her. This harem's chemistry just works they slot together like missing pieces of a puzzle, together there a solid unit, a self made family and Jolie is there world and she's feels exactly the same as them. This was also the steamiest one yet the smut scenes were supernova and the dirty talk the stuff of cold showers.

The plot was fast paced and the action non-stop and I really didn't want this to end. But it was also so satisfying to see certain awful individuals get there just deserts. I can see this author being an auto-buy for me as I've just connected so much with everything i've ever read from them. This is reverse harem done right the whole series was bloody amazing.

Wow! This has got to be one of the best debut RH / why choose series out there. I couldn’t put this book down! The writing is phenomenal and will have you at the edge of your seat for the entire series. There isn’t a a dull moment. Hands down one of my favourite RH series ever, and I read quite a lot so this Truly stands out. I don’t think I’ll ever stop recommending this series

The plot is incredible, with many twists and turns. The authors descriptions are so vivid you can truly envision the world she’s letting you into.

The characters are complex and really well written. Jolie aka Jojo is a total badass who gives as good as she gets. As for the men- Bennet is your possessive alpha male with ‘touch her and become unalive vibes’ Zach is the easy going, slightly unhinged lover and Noah is the sexy nerd who bring the dirty talk and Dom vibes. Difficult to choose which one I love more. I love the side characters too Max is the best annoying brother out there, Mari is a bestie every girl needs and as for Frankie- gives out hot insane p$ycho vibes. I can’t wait for the spin-off novellas

If you enjoy why choose romance with a sassy, feisty heroine, hot men, witty dialogue, secret society Academy vibes you’ll love this book.

I was given an eARC of this book for review!

Jolie has had enough of the three families' behavior and sets the final stage of her takedown plan in action when Zack is taken from her. In this plot of revenge, betrayal, and lust, a bloodthirsty heroine and equally brutal heroes will tear down St. Gabriel city.

Oh my goodness I cannot even begin to describe how much I loved this book! Jolie acted like a queen and let no one stand in her way. I absolutely adore her relationship with the guys, and secretly wish I had that for myself. Minus the bloodshed and trauma of course. Bennet just stole my heart in this book, although he was nasty before, his best quotes are some of my favorites from the whole series. On a side note, I am super excited to see more of Max and Frankie's story.

Seeing Jojo come full circle and wreak vengeance on those who wronged her and her parents was extremely satisfying. My favorite thing about this series is that Jolie is an equal to Bennett, Zach, and Noah, not a woman who settled in their shadows. She could hold her own and was not afraid to get her hands dirty. Jolie led by example, with grit and grace, and I adore her. She got her boys back, kept the backing of the chosen family who had rescued her, and made a few new friends along the way. I am absolutely stoked to read Max and Frankie's story someday!

Fantastic ending to the series!

In this last book Jolie is with her boys and they have all acknowledged they are in a poly relationship together! Their goal is to finish toppling their parents, the heads of the last 3 families but their parents won’t go down without a fight!

There’s blood, torture, action, love, sex, and friendship sewn throughout the book. It’s a perfect escape to get lost in this work of fiction and just enjoy the ride that Jolie and her boys take you on.

I also LOVE the teasers of Max and Frankie and can’t wait for that story to come out!

Excellent Conclusion!!
From the first chapter it held my attention! We continue to get action and suspense, and we get a lot more steam too!! The spicy scenes, whether one on one or group were so hot!! 🔥
Jolie, and her guys were truly a force to be reckoned with. There was no doubt in my mind that they were all truly devoted to Jolie and that she loved them fiercely.
I honestly couldn't pick a favorite guy, each of them were so important. I really liked that we get more Bennett in this book because he had finally proved his love for Jojo.
I loved seeing the guys officially stand up to their parents.
Things definitely weren't smooth sailing, but that made the journey and finally the ending so much better. Fantastic job!! I loved it!!

There was always a single way this could end: bloody. When Jolie comes back for revenge she will not give up until her enemies and everything they stand for is eviscerated. Jolie and her crew manage to (almost) always be a step ahead. Always ready to strike at the enemy in a low and dirty way that really hits them right where it hurts most. Its been a long road coming for them all to find a HEA. One by one their enemies fall paving way for a clear and safe future for them all. Gone are the far too powerful Families and instead Jolie and her men completely transform everything their last name stands for. I really enjoyed this series and the side stories and characters were a nice addition? I really love Frankie and Max, honestly I thought they’d pair up with Jolie’s bestie and her gf but alas I guess they’ll all just be besties.

Jolie, Bennett, Zach, Noah, Mari, Max, Frankie, Dom, Kara, Julie, the Shadows…

They all know how to take care of business, and Jolie knows how to lead them.

And Noah knows how to get JoJo to behave 😏😏.

Kill the King is exactly the conclusion to this trilogy that I wanted, and it had lots and LOTS of revenge. In many different aspects… 😏😏😏. My favorite was Bennett’s *revenge* on Zach & Noah for something that went down in Seize the Castle. I have never read a revenge scene quite like this one, and let me tell you… it was 🔥.

Kill the King has plot, action, heart, humor, and a whole extra level of spice. Elizabeth Dear just keeps leveling up on that front!

Can’t say too much more regarding the plot in case of spoilers, but I will say that you won’t be disappointed by the *conclusion* of the Four Families.

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Now we impatiently wait for Max & Frankie’s story!!

Lackluster ending. Everything is wrapped up with a pretty little bow but it was so boring. I barely made it through and honestly had to skim some. The author has chosen to focus on things that aren’t important in order to wrap all the little storylines up. She’s back dealing with things that happened in book one but were so far away from those moments. We could have just had a quick line of how it was handled instead of whole chapters. That level of detail and run around was just not necessary at this stage of the series.

Maybe it would have been fine had there been a lot of good swoony romantic scenes to balance all the plot stuff. There’s no romance in the whole series IMO. Book one had very little romantic aspects at all. Then book two has a few but it all just petered out once we got into this book three. This one was just all horniness all the time. At least there was tension in the previous books before they were all together. I could barely tolerate the sex scenes because the characters had no chemistry or intimacy so it just read like bad porn. Really bad porn. Wordy porn 😂.

There’s a lot of telling verses showing throughout this whole series but especially in this book three. I wanted to see them be more cunning and plotting instead of just hearing everything they did after it’s done and we’re in the consequences phase. It would have gone a long way for their intimacy for us to see them all working together and not in the sexual pretzel variety of working together. So much drivel. These people are in the fights of their lives! It all comes down to this and it had none of that intensity, terror, urgency that I wanted. Blahhhh. Just boring. So freaking boring.

Summary:

❌ it's so stupid and childish. The evil parents could've just killed the FMC in book 2, because murdering people has no consequences in this city. Also they spend their time killing people and go back to school the next day
❌ it's too long. It should've been shortened
❌ MMCs personality is being obsessed with the FMC

Will I continue this series? last book

Would I recommend? ❌

I read this series in two days, and it hindered my work, tbh... but it was WORTH it!

Book 1:

First of all, I love Jojo! My favorite kinds of FMCs are the badass ones, the ones that show they can take care of themselves without repeating all the time how much of bad bitches they are. Also, I put 4 stars because of Jojo, tbh, because the MCs I didn't like much. They were kind of meh for me at first, but thank goodness there are three books and they get better.

The plot is really good, though a bit predictable. And I loved that the FMC actually worked for a chance to get revenge, and she did it beautifully!

Book 2:

I DESPISED Bennett. If you see my notes, you'll see that I mostly ranted about him and how dumb he and Noah were sometimes. They find out who Jojo is, and they keep whining that she lied to them and didn't ask them for help... at the same time, the two of them are doormats and spineless, something i don't find sexy on MCs at all. I was waiting for the "If you touch her you die" but it was more of "our parents are going to kill you and there's nothing we can do to stop them, cry cry". Urhg! Jojo had more courage in the tips of her long, blonde hair than they had in their whole bodies.

Most of the time in book 2 I wanted Jojo to drop Bennett and Noah, and be with Zach. It was frustraing as hell, i mean, Bennett lets Harper say and do whatever she wants. GROW A PAIR, my dude! What's the point of being all powerful and whatever when you have to crawl for other "less" families to remain in your position? That's not power! And let's talk about how Noah said that he missed Jojo and didn't want anything bad happening to her, and yet seemed to FORGET that Anna helped Jojo almost get raped and kept smiling at her and making small talk. WTH??? And I love Zach, but his protests against his friends were weak. Jojo honestly deserved better. She was treated like shit by them, she was almost raped and killed, and they still let people call her names and whatever. They have NO control whatsoever over the other students, which is weird since people keep saying how powerful they are. They aren't.

The stars are again for Jojo, because she's a QUEEN. She slowly, but surely, destroyed all her enemies while the MCs basically watched and complained to her about trust and etc. How can she trust you when you do whatever your spineless parents want??? Again, GROW SOME PAIR!

Also, I totally ship Max and Frankie. And I love Mari.

Book 3:

At last, the men grow some balls and stop their whinning. Bennett was too much of a coward for me to really like him, even after his rendemption, so when they got together, it was whatever for me. Zach is my favorite by a long shot. Jojo owned, like always. Lots of action in this one, and the conflicts are all solved.

There were some plot decisions that I thought were dumb as hell. Mainly the fact that Heater and Chad were allowed in Jojo's birthday party, I mean??? Heater tried to kill Jojo, she literally hates the girl, and still wears the engagement ring from Bennett. And Chad attacked Jojo and was a hateful bastard and a pedo. SO WHY, WHY did they let those demons in the party??? It made ZERO sense to me and it was annoying as hell.

Now, let's go to the negative points in the series and why I didn't give it 5 stars.

We are in 2023, and still writing female characters that only exist for the sake of annoying the FMC and panting after the MCs. In this series, is to a point that I find obnoxious. Do women like that actually exist??? Or are we so used to seeing these kind of characters that we just go with it? I mean, EVERY SINGLE woman in this series, with the exception of Mari, Laura, and Bennett's mother, are total c*nts. They all wear short skirts and continuously try to seduce the MCs, to the point that was totally unbelievable to me. It annoyed me. It wasn't interesting, it was just tiring. There's a part where a random girl that didn't even know Jojo slutshames her and calls her names just because she wanted to get into Zach's pants...It just seemed a tad misogynist to me. The girl villains were just dumb and desperate, and too one-dimensonal for me. I like villains that actually make you hate them because they are smart enough to bother the FMC and the MCs. The villains here were just dumb as hell.

Anyway, overall, great series! I hope the author writes other RHs. And if you read this, please, I beg you, stop making women sound so bad! PLEASE!

I received an ARC for an honest review

Please see the author's note as a content warning applies

This is the third and final book in the A Knight's Revenge trilogy. This book picks up where book 2 left off, and all I can say is that you will not be disappointed.

Zac has been taken, and Jolie, Bennett, Noah, her family and the Shadow’s mount an extraction that goes off without a hitch.

There carefully laid plans come to fruition and the remaining families - The Hargraves, The Ferrero’s and The Spencer’s fall with spectacular grace, for now they have reaped what they sowed and everything has come full circle.

Jolie and her guys have taken back the city, but more-so there power, dismantled there families legacies, and rebuilt the city in there image, replacing the stain, giving back to those less fortunate, forging a path to their future.

Steadfast and determined Jolie couldn’t have done what she did without her guys, but more importantly her family, her friends and the Shadows. Trust and loyalty were the cornerstones of the foundation that led to Jolie and her guys getting the closure they needed to heal.

On a side note, sorry not sorry to see some particular characters get there comeuppance, for where Jolie is concerned, those who dare to look, touch, hurt and or take what is hers, will answer to her.

This story is told from multiple POV, we get to see the characters growth and development throughout the book, each bringing there own strengths and weaknesses, what we see and feel shapes these characters, giving readers insight to who they are flaws and all, that they are in fact humans who all feel but handle what happened to them differently.

Their story will take you on a wild ride, having you turn page after page, this book had me from the beginning to the end. Reading this story, it enables the readers to really connect with the characters. The author knows how to write, and I will be coming back for more.

This book has it all why choose romance, three possessive dominant alpha males, a fiery heroine who gives as good as she gets, touch him/ her or die vibes, laugh out loud moments, family and friend dynamics, murder, madness, mayhem, revenge, vengeance, violence, defiance, manipulation, adrenaline seeking suspense, jealousy, twists, truths and betrayal.

And those MF, MFM and MFMM scenes including those BDSM and role-playing elements were blazing hot, downright dirty and physical, it had all the pleasure and passion one would expect when Zach, Noah and Bennett show Jolie that they are the only men she will ever need, that she accepts them for who they are and she takes them for all that they are; for Zach, Noah and Bennett always gets what they want, giving her the pain and pleasure, she deserves, their possessiveness and obsessive need for control and dominance, it was off the charts and had all of the feels.

Cannot believe that this is the end of there story, but all good stories must come to and end, they got there happily ever after, it also proves that Noah, Bennett and Zac are no short of being possessive, wicked and depraved, showing Jolie who’s clearly in charge and who owns her heart, mind and body, it was bittersweet and oh so perfect, and one very well deserved for them all.

Highly recommend this book and author!

Third and the final book in the trilogy and it’s the most dreamy one with lots of spice in it. The writing is fabulous, and the way Elizabeth has shaped this entire series is worth applauding. She’s a genius who knows how to blend in the characters well to hook the readers' attention. I was practically glued to the book the entire way.

I am saying the book dreamy because it has got so many parts which anybody would want in their life. The love, the passion, the friendship, the loyalty, I mean everything. The book has a solid plot and every book in this series gets better and better. The characters are amazingly handsome and beautiful from in and out.

Jolie is the fiercest protagonist and her confidence oozes victory. I loved how she strategies every step for the end game and it’s so fucking adorable that the guys support her in every step of it. She is the beauty with brains and here with fighting skills too. She has made herself of stone but her heart is still pure and beautiful.

Bennett, Noah, and Zach have so much improvement in themselves from book one. The banter and the possessiveness of these will give you butterflies. All have different personalities but they are linked through their golden hearts and a thread that’s called Jolie. These four are inseparable and I loved their chemistry.

The story is all action-packed and seeing all the planning and plotting brings a thrill to it. There are so many things at play at any given point in time and it’s fabulous to see the anticipation building that what’s going to come next. I was enjoying the story while sitting on the edge to know what comes next.

We get to see so many characters and their loyalties have stunned me. I really like a close-knit family chosen by heart, not by blood. Mari was a fantastic friend and her character brings humour to every situation. She’s a complete package, we got to see her mind at work when strategizing something and it’s just wow.

Max is adorable and I love his running commentary on any and everything. Frankie is a trump card, you will never know what he’ll do and when he’ll do it. He’ll just pop one serving and be gone in the other. I am really looking forward to the coming novella. All and all a must trilogy to read and since now it’s out, it’s easily binge-able.

SERIES REVIEW: OHMAHGOSH What a fun, action packed ride! I could not put these books down. I got sucked in IMMEDIATELY and barely slept for a week (I’m a slow reader). But for the whole week, I breathed A Knight’s Revenge! Elizabeth knows how to make you fall in love with even the most fleeting side characters!

This series is FULL of banter, jokes, sexual tension, and blossoming relationships. What was once lost to these characters, was found and rebuilt into an in breakable fortress of love and devotion.

Jolie, my girl is unhinged!!! She’s all….touch him and die, hell, look at him and die. How many books do you read with a possessive FMC!? I ate that shit up 👏

The tension between the MCs was delicious. Y’all know I’m a tension hoe. There isn’t a ton of spice, but the scenes that are there are 👨🏻‍🍳💋 OMG a I was MELTING under the amount of PRAISE in this book 🫠🫠🫠

But spice and relationships aside, the plot was extraordinary. I loved every second of this fast paced, action packed, brutal series. I highly highly recommend!

Favorite Quotes:

“I don’t give a fuck. No one touches him and gets to live.” -KtK

I knew I would burn the whole world down to keep these boys with me. -KtK

She’s magnificent,” Noah whispered. “She’s dangerous,” Bennett countered. She was both of those things, but most importantly— “She’s ours.” -StC

But I hadn’t anticipated the draw that still pulled me toward those unfeeling bastards, the familiarity and the little hints of the boys I knew still there, and it was messing with my head. -StG

This was an epic conclusion to the trilogy and I loved every minute of it! It felt fantastic watching sweet, sweet revenge play out.

I loved Jojo in book 1 and she just got cooler with each book. She was sassy, had looks and skill that could kill (and did), and she loved her boys and her family. I can’t quite decide who my favourite guy is though… Zach was his usual unhinged, playful self, Professor Noah could take me for extra credit any day, but Bennett was the new addition to the pack. He finally joined Team Knight at the end of book 2 and we really get to see him shine in this one. He steps up in all the best ways and it’s hottt to see.

Speaking of hot, the spice definitely got ramped up! There were so many group scenes and a certain fantasy played out and it was utterly delicious.

Overall I’m pleased with how this story was wrapped up. I enjoyed all the ways revenge and payback were served and felt like everyone got a little piece of the pie. I might’ve liked a longer epilogue but that’s simply because I’m nosy and not quite ready to give up these characters yet haha.

For Elizabeth Dear’s first foray into reverse harem/why choose romance, she absolutely knocked it out of the park 💜

What an ending!!! Kill the King is a perfect end to this series. I don’t think there are enough stars anywhere for me to give this book. KTK is so good, I’m not sure I can fully articulate how much I loved it. From the moment I picked this up, I knew there was no way I was going to be able to put it down and work before it was finished.

KTK is everything that a series finale should be. It’s the perfect balance of suspense, plot, drama, action and the just the right amount of heat and spice. KTK stands on its own merits but also fits in the series. It engaged me from the very first page and kept me enthralled the entire way. The author did a wonderful job tying up all the outstanding plot points without letting the book drag.

All the characters are amazing. Jolie is the strong, snarky, kick ass fmc. She’s used her past and her pain to become a force for change without being a bit*h. Zach, Bennett and Noah are all incredibly different guys but they all have their charms and they’re perfect for Jolie. I love how they’re sweet for her but only her. Also, I need Max and Frankie’s story. I’m dying to know what happened there and Mari is the best BFF. She’s the definition of Ride or Die. Everyone needs a friend like her.

KTK takes up where STC left off, with Jolie and Bennett having finally come together (pun intended) and Jolie learning the truth about what caused the other three members of the Four Families to turn on her parents and Zach’s disappearance. She and the boys kick off phase three of her plan and set out to take them all down.

This series is a slow burn, with little to no spice in Seize the Gates, and good amount of spice in Seize the Castle. But whatever spice and heat that you might have been missing in books one and two, KTK more than makes up for it. The spice is off the charts. Keep some water at hand when reading this, you’ll definitely need to hydrate afterward. One-on-One, with voyeurs, or in a group, these four are explosive together and KTK has the perfect balance of spice and plot.

I cannot say it enough, but this book, this entire series is phenomenal and you want to drop everything and read it.

Such a great conclusion

This was a great ending to Jolie Zach Bennett an Noah.

There was so much action in this final book to the trilogy. There was also a few mind blowing bombs as well.

Mari an Frankie’s friendship was so perfect I love them both as well as Max. Can’t wait to read Max an Frankie’s Novella soon to see what happened with them.

Everyone who ever wronged Jolie past or present got what they all deserved in the end. I enjoyed how they all interacted with each other an the banter with all the guys an Max.

The parents of Zach an Bennett definitely got what they deserved from them all. I was glad that they all stood by Jolie an together took back what was stolen from her parents.

The epilogue is set two years later an it was such a great little look into their lives after everything had happened an how they’re healing an what happened with all the towers etc.

This concludes the story of Jolie,Zach,Noah an Bennett. Now we get the Novella for Frankie an Max to see what happened between them an I can’t wait they’re two of my favorite side characters they fit perfectly together in my opinion.

Amazing. Thrilling. Action-packed. I loved it. I loved everything about it. The attention to detail, the character growth, the downfall of the villains, the snark, the dialogue, the side characters… everything!

Elizabeth Dear wrote such a rich world that I was constantly wishing I was a part of the crew too. Jolie continues her bada$$ery in the final book of the trilogy, all while balancing a decent GPA at Holywell Academy. How does she do it? She’s cunning, intelligent, and very efficient. Did I mention she’s an excellent multitasker? With three voracious and overprotective lovers, one must always be at the top of their game.

"Oh shit," Zach said, sounding excited. "Are we gonna watch Jojo take that monster again? You better share this time, asshole."

Bennett, Noah, and Zach don’t take for granted that Jolie is around. The constant worry about losing her is justified after everything they’ve been through. And they more than prove their worth and loyalty to Jolie as they methodically disassemble the empire that used to belong to Andrea Ferrero, James Spencer, and Peter Hargrave. It was so satisfying to see this group at work: they know when to be vicious and when to be tender (or not, as Jolie often prefers).

Max and Frankie are some of my favorite side characters. The snark from Max is unparalleled and I always laughed when he was on scene. Frankie used to give me the shivers, but once his true loyalty shone through, I loved seeing him in action.

"Attention! Brother entering the house!" Max's deep voice reverberated through the room. "If there is a four-way fuck-fest going on in here, it needs to be wrapping up!"

I can’t wait to reread this series to relive all the little moments again with my favorite crew! Highly recommend this series if you’re looking for action, thriller, spicy spice, comedy, heartbreak, and good old-fashioned revenge.

That was positively filthy and violent. I loved it.

So much happened in this series and I binged all the books in a couple days and if it wasn't for the cliffhangers I wouldn't know what had happened in which book. I am so glad that they got their HEA and it didn't conclude with another cliffy.

This book was definitely made of a few more separate scenes that didn't always flow together that well. It was obvious the smut took a front seat and although I don't mind smutty books AT ALL, I did miss the more solid plot line from the first two books.

Jolie is very violent, very hot, and had her heart in the right place. But I do feel like in this book we got to only see her violent side and less of her cunning, individuality. That was a shame.

Yes, this was a good book, but I did enjoy it less than the other two. The smut was glorious tho, truly. And that banter between Max and the boys? Loved it. I need more of that bromance.

Very satisfying ending

So many book series end in an anticlimactic, unsatisfying conclusion. This book was not that. The deaths, the action, the drama. It was all so so satisfying to read. The epilogue wasn't the best I've ever read, but it was nice enough.
I really enjoyed the characters and the steam was great. I'm really looking forward to more of Max and Frankie!!

Jolie was a powerful female MC which I loved. The guys and rest of the characters were very forgettable. I confused Zach and Noah constantly along with all the other characters outside of Bennett and Frankie. The storyline was predictable but I felt like finishing this book because I enjoyed Jolie so much.
