Holy ever-loving mind f*ck!
Cara Bianchi is a master at plot twists you never see coming, but with all the moving pieces on the board, it’s as if you’re playing the hardest game of thimblerig possible.
I already adored Roxy from reading Twisted Sinner, but Benedikt f*cking Voratov was as unhinged and depraved as Cara warned me he would be… and then some.
The all consuming obsession, the mystery, and thrills. Everything was put together so perfectly to make one incredible story that I couldn’t put down!
I am never disappointed when I read one of Cara’s books and I always appreciate the opportunity to leave an ARC review. Once again, I am in awe of her story and characters.

Roxy and Ben, Ben and Roxy, there dynamics blew me away!
Roxy knows what she wants, and what she wants is Ben, she does everything she can to breathe the same air as him, she succeeds, but it’s the little tells she gives off, that has him thinking otherwise, and when her motives become clear, he goes to claim her, but when she shocks him with a simple truth, does he rebuff her, feeling humiliated she leaves and he goes off grid.
Months later Roxy has thrown herself into her work as a councillor at Always Home. Coming to terms with the fallout with the events surrounding The Dollmaker. Roxy believes the man they have in custody is not the person responsible, it only spurs her to find the truth, in doing so puts her in a precarious situation with the actual perpetrator. Luckily enough for Roxy she is able to get out unhurt.
When she reports the incident, they believe she is fabricating her story, for her to be believed she has let go of the notion that Farraday is there man, however it leads to Roxy procuring information that she uses to her advantage, bringing here face to face with Ben, the one person she never thought she would see again.
When Roxy turns up on his doorstep, he goes to turn her away, but she pushes her way in, and she tells him to hear what she has to say. She discloses to Ben what happened to her and he goes on the defensive, taking her into his protection, ready to go against those who would harm his woman.
But when there mutual feelings for each other explode, igniting a blazing inferno between them, giving into there own desires, putting aside their fears, Ben finally claiming Roxy’s innocence in a night of pure, unadulterated pleasure and passion, asserting his control and dominance, bending Roxy to his will, acquiescing to his carnal desires, so much so that Ben discovers that this is something that Roxy wants but also needs.
For Roxy had a loving family, until it all fell apart, putting her in a precarious situation that lead her to meet Ali, turning her life around for the better. A truth she shares with Ben, and he in turn, but there are some truths that he cannot share with her, for the most part, it is his intention to keep her safe.
And when Roxy comes to the realisation that Ben won’t give her more, he is unapologetic, for he made his intentions with her very clear, oblivious to how hurt she is feeling she lashes out at him for using her past against her, as she walks out, he comes to the realisation that he self-sabotaged there relationship on purpose, coming to the conclusion that he is in love with her.
Digging deeper puts them at an impasse, Roxy’s job is put at risk, things that didn’t make sense, begin to, in Ben’s mind, as the pieces start clicking together, when the white noise clears, and everything becomes transparent, does he come to the conclusion of who the actual perpetrator is, and when he realises Roxy is missing, does he spring into action.
But in the ensuing chaos does Roxy become a victim, in the process does she learn some unsettling truths, coming face to face with the one responsible. And when Ben happens upon Roxy’s location, does he discover the other player involved, despite his feelings towards Roxy, is he able to assess the situation, all it takes is a momentary distraction on Roxy’s part is Ben able to act, disabling the perpetrator, neither coming out unscathed.
But not all is forgiven when Ben and Roxy have that conversation, where Roxy calls out Ben for his actions. Knowing that he hurt her, he needs to be honest with her, does he disclose his truths, but it doesn’t change anything for her, for him her trust means everything, having faith in him does he fully accept the bad with the good, especially when they finally declare there love for each other.
And when the truth is finally revealed, and the one’s responsible have been held accountable for their actions, and those wronged, exonerated, justice is served. With the dissolution of Always Home, Ali and Roxy start there own counselling service, giving those at risk, the opportunity, along with herself to finally heal from the trauma she has endured.
When she couldn’t fall more in love with him, does he fulfil her one wish, whisking them away to paradise, basking in the warmth of her happiness does he claim her, binding her to him, his love for her infinite, fulfilling her basest desires, giving her a night of unconditional love and unbridled joy that she has never felt before. For they have changed each other’s life forever and she doesn’t plans on ever letting him go.
This story is told from multiple POV, we get to see the growth and development of these characters through there strengths and weaknesses, what we see and feel shapes these characters, giving readers insight to who they are flaws and all, that they are in fact humans who all feel but handle what happened to them differently.
Their story will take you on a wild ride, having you turn page after page, this book had me from the beginning to the end. Reading this story, it enables the readers to really connect with the characters. The author knows how to write, and I will be coming back for more.
This book has it all dark mafia romance, possessive dominant alpha male, a fiery heroine who gives a good as she gets, touch her and die vibes, family and friend dynamics, madness, mayhem, revenge, vengeance, violence, defiance, manipulation, adrenaline seeking suspense, jealousy, twists, truths and betrayal.
The tension between them was undeniable, she was very responsive to him, as he was very in tune with her, the friction burning hot between them, but those s*x scenes including those BDSM elements were blazing hot, downright dirty and physical, it had all the pleasure and passion one would expect when Ben shows Roxy that he will be the only man that she will ever need, for Ben will always get what he wants, giving Roxy the pain and pleasure, she deserves, his possessiveness and obsessive need for control and dominance, there foreplay it was off the charts and had all of the feels.
Highly recommend both author and book!

OMG! Wow well that book had me riveted to the seat, the story sent my emotions on a roller-coaster and the characters were really amazing. This story was about Benedikt Voratov (Ben) and Roxy, Roxy has always wanted Ben and it didn't matter how rude he was to her, her crush always remained. Ben believes he doesn't do emotions, he believes he is too damaged and dangerous, he is a killer and works for the Bratva when they need him, so he likes his privacy. Ben went to his best friends wedding and Roxy just happened to be there aswell but as a brides maid. The bride and groom left early on their honeymoon so Ben was happy time out from everybody he wanted to lay back and have a few drinks. Roxy couldn't sleep in her room and got front desk to ring his room he was furious to be called but eventually he told them to send her up. Ben has always wanted her so he has to be strong and stay away from her. Roxy threw herself at him,
he played with her but as soon as he found out she still had her v-card he got up and left her to get dressed Roxy was devastated not knowing what to do. The next day they got on a flight When they landed Roxy went home while Ben continued on a different flights. Roxy was thinking there was something wrong with herself for Ben not to come back, while she was on her own she was kidnapped and put to sleep with chloroform her wrists were tied together aswell as her ankles and left with stitches in the back of her head, lucky she was able to escape. Farraday was in prison for a crime he didn't commit, The Dollmaker kills children and cuts a finger off for a souvenir. Now Ben is back Roxy wanted to talk to him about the Farraday she is trying to get him off and go back to his family, he said know to Roxy because they would kill his family. Ben was furious that someone hurt Roxy. Ben is now getting over protective she is not to go anywhere without him. As the two of them start discovering things thinking they are getting closer, in
actual fact they are not. The chemistry between them is getting so much hotter Ben ended up taking her v-card and harder than he should he was upset while she comforted him.

Part of the East Coast Bratva each book can be read as a standalone hang on and buckle up this is a wild ride, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love (ALL THINGS TO EXPECT FROM THE MAFIA WORLD). By the time you’ve figured out who is who and what is what, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter! CAN’T SAY YOU WEREN’T WARNED!!!!! Ben sexy as all get out enforcer, a psychopath who can’t see past his loyalty, he is broken, cold, extremely manipulative and feels no one especially the innocent women who stole his heart could see past his flaws accepting all of him. Roxy sweet, has the ability to see past people’s flaws right to the heart of them choose to accept them just as they are, has a good heart and meeting the cold hearted man who sets on fire wasn’t every really part of her plans. The moment they meet it is hotter than sin, but he keeps her at arms lengths because he is so broken, and she is so good, but he can’t help himself especially when she needs his help. After being kidnapped, hurt needing a savior someone who is as vicious as the men who took her but the moment he finds out she was taken, she was hurt it woke up the protectiveness in him and he isn’t allowing her to go anywhere on her own in the name of keep her safe. She learns he doesn’t mean all the cruel things he say or actions he is just afraid of what he can be or what she makes him feel making her safety his first priority she gave him something other than just being called to kill when needed so when the serial killer comes for her he will do what is needed to keep her safe but is it enough, is he enough, will he ever realize she saw the real him from day one never judging him for who he was, do they get the serial killer, will they prove Farraday innocence, and is there happiness on the adventure?.

I don't even know how to review this book and not give something away. It is a tale of murder, lies and deception. There is death and danger at every turn and some serious attraction and passion going on too. There is a serial killer on the lose and to figure this all out the help of the one man who has already hurt her his really needed. He is the only cold calculating person in the world that scares her as much as the serial killer does. Roxanne is Ben's perfect match in so many ways but he also is a profiler and has takes his job very seriously. She has wanted this guy for as long as she can remember and no matter what he has done she hasn't stopped feeling that way. He is trying his best to move on but knows that he is going to be seeing here since she is best friends with his best friends wife. But when they begin to be the hunted thing get serious and crazy really quickly. You will spend most of the time reading this book on the edge of your seat. I loved every second of it.

Wow…be prepared for this mind trip that is this amazing story. There is so much to unpack within this tale of murder, lies, deception, death, danger, passion, love & a bit of a psychological thriller that your head will hurt by the end. But it is so worth the ride along the way!
This Bratva psychological drama is filled with so much intrigue, intelligence, insight, and phenomenal characters that you will be blown away.
Ben is a profiler but he also works for the Bratva because of his particular set of skills. He’s been working on a serial killer case and has finally closed it. He’s been trying to move on from his desire and need to with Roxanne but she’s this all consuming presence in his mind and he can’t get ride of her no matter how hard he tries!! She is the best friend to his best friends new wife. He knows they will interact together but he has to try and distance himself because the darkness within is not good for anyone.
Roxanne has desires Ben for as long as she’s known him. He is this all encompassing person and she wants him to do naughty things to her in all the worse ways. He’s awakened something in her and she’s not willing to give him up.
However, they are being hunted and if they don’t pay close attention to the case they might both end up dead. This is a mind trip to the fullest extent. Be prepared for it and read the triggers because they are prevalent from the first page to the last. This was an amazing story and you will devour it especially if you love true crime and mafia books because this book fits that mold perfectly. Happy Reading!!

Cara Bianchi brings the heat in Vicious Hearts. Benedikt/Ben is 16 years older and way more experienced than beautiful, innocent Roxy. He’s also a cold, manipulative psychopath with a dark past that he’s not sure Roxy will be able to accept. But what he doesn’t understand is that Roxy wants all of Ben: torn, ragged edges flooded with darkness.
Roxy thinks that a serial killer targeting kids is still out there, but nobody will believe her. Can Ben put aside his lust and help her catch the killer before it’s too late?
I loved the crime/mystery part of the story, and I also loved the spice between Ben and Roxy - Ben can really set fire to a page with his filthy mouth. At times, I did have difficulties with Ben and Roxy’s budding relationship because they kept going so hot and cold. I think a lot of it was because of Roxy’s youth and idealistic view of life, whereas Ben could be a real grump at times. Nonetheless, he was such a goner for her and was clearly a touch-her-and-d!e kinda guy. Who can blame him? Roxy has such a good heart and always sees the best in people. The spice definitely helped keep things going for me, overall a good story and some great characters!

I loved the crime/mystery part of the story, and I also loved the spice between Ben and Roxy - Ben can really set fire to a page with his filthy mouth. At times, I did have difficulties with Ben and Roxy’s budding relationship because they kept going so hot and cold. I think a lot of it was because of Roxy’s youth and idealistic view of life, whereas Ben could be a real grump at times. Nonetheless, he was such a goner for her and was clearly a touch-her-and-d!e kinda guy. Who can blame him? Roxy has such a good heart and always sees the best in people. Vicious Hearts is my favorite in the East Coast Bratva series! I loved Twisted Sinner, but Vicious Hearts had a different take, it was a little darker & I loved the psychological suspense & serial killer take! This was a fast paced story f/beginning to end & grabs you immediately.
Both Ben & Roxy are 2 broken souls who crossed paths when he shot her at the end of book 2. He visited her in the hospital & they connected, but afterwards he realized she was too good for him & did everything he could to avoid her. When they’re both invited to Leo & Ali’s wedding, Roxy stages a flood in her villa to stay w/Ben. But after a confession f/her, Ben freaks again & kicks her out & disappears for 6 months. Now they’re both back in the same city & after Roxy is attacked & almost k|!!ed, there’s only one person who she can turn to- Ben. And he’ll do anything to protect her, even as he fights his feelings, & says cruel things to push her away, he also knows he loves her. But they have a serial killer to find before he successfully kills Roxy & keeping her safe is Ben’s first priority.

I loved Ben and Roxy! This picks up where Twisted Sinner ends at Ali and Leo’s wedding. You don’t have to read Twisted Sinner to understand what’s going on, but it helps get some backstory. Ben doesn’t think he’s good enough for Roxy but is in love with her whether he wants to admit it to himself or not. Roxy knows she loves Ben and wants him to see for himself that he’s worthy of being loved. There’s a killer after Roxy because she refuses to let an innocent man go down for something he didn’t do. Ben helps her try to get to the bottom of it and catch the real killer before he catches them. There’s a little bit for everyone in this book: Bratva, corruption, murder, and suspense. It also has a ton of sexy hotness!.

The plot of the book was great, full on mystery involving aspects made it more wonderful. Bratva always has been one of my favorite tropes to read, there's something fabulous about the Russian men in fiction. Ben is sexy, delicious and caring yet he will gut you if you try to hurt his girl and Roxy is just fab. She's my favorite heroine of course. Their banter and chemistry was off the charts and it was sure a enjoyable journey.

I LOVED THIS BOOK. Honestly my favourite by cara so far!
Roxy has always had her eye on Ben, several years her senior and unhinged. Roxy works hard to protect vulnerable children and is trying to free a man she believes is wrongly accused of murdering 6 children. After a narrow escape she finds herself having to work with Ben to bring the right person to justice.. but will her past catch up? Is Ben purely manipulating her?
This book is full of filthy sex, dirty degradation with a lick of praise. At some points I was confused over emotions and storylines but its all wrapped up neatly by the end. If you have a degradation kink and a thing for unhinged men then this is 100% the book for you!

Be prepared to strap in for a wild ride - Definitely 5 stars
Cara Bianchi has absolutely nailed it with Benedikt & Roxy's story. Their story is definitely dark & may push your emotional boundaries. To me, if an author can push your emotional boundaries when reading a book then you know they have done a fantastic job.
I don't want to give the story away so all I will say is this is one book I highly recommend. I can't wait to see what the author writes next.

Oh my God this book completely blew my mind. From start to finished had me sitting on the edge of my seat. Ben and Roxys story is somewhat crazy as theyre both a bit broken and searching for love in strange ways. While Roxy is trying to prove the inocence of Simon her life is in danger and Ben finally gave in to his obsession with Roxy.This book is exciting, tempting and dark loved reading it and if u are into Mafia Romance reads with broody Russians then this book is for u.

This is a standalone in the East Coast Bratva series. This story features so much psychological suspense. It also features a serial unaliver which makes this story so much more better. Both the FMC and MMC are broken souls whose paths crossed and lead them on an emotional yet amazing story. With each twist and turn of the story I was more and more engulfed and wanting more. I highly recommend this story and this author's work.

Oh wow....the plot was really good and twisted. Then you have Roxy and Ben trying to overcome their dark pasts so they can be together. Love that Ali and Leo make cameos throughout. I couldn’t put this one down and pretty much read it in a day.

OMG, this was such a mind fuck, but in a good way. Roxy and Ben were such a unique couple dynamic, I was hooked from the beginning. I did not read the previous book and it honestly doesn't matter I was able to follow the story with no problem. The Dollmaker was such a weird but good character, it was such a fun read trying to figure out who they were. I was way off though and it was such a mind-blow when it was revealed.

Roxy and Ben!!! This author is so freaking amazing at telling a couples story and Ben and Roxy’s story is no different! Roxy has to be my favorite FMC to date I love how she just wants all of Ben flaws and all. These two were pure perfection for one another. I love this book and this couple!

Ben and Roxy are a hot pair. He brings out a side of her that she embraces. However there is a danger lurking in the shadows, a serial killer. While trying to find the killer they are growing close. Ben fights loving Roxy until he can't. A compelling unique story especially considering Ben is also part of the bratva.

Talk about a great suspense story. This has it all, suspense, super hot dirty talk 🥵, degradation and some kinda sorta groveling. Roxy and Benedikt have history but that doesn’t stop Roxy from turning to him when she needs help. Benedikt and Roxy are super explosive together and the mouth on Benedikt…oh boy 🥵. I was sitting on the edge of my seat reading this and trying to put the puzzle pieces together also and was completely engaged in finishing this story, I was also sad that I had finished it 😂. I loved this book, and can’t wait to read others.

Completely new to me author and I’m intrigued! You have mafia, possessive alpha, headstrong heroine, mystery and suspense all rolled up together in this story. It definitely isn’t one I expected and I loved it!
