The darkness inside me is becoming all-consuming.

I’ve hidden my true self from the world for far too long. Now it’s time I take back my power and become the queen of my club that I’ve always wanted to be.

But I don’t just want a measly piece of what I’m owed after years of blood and heartbreak.

I want it all.

I want them.

The three men who were once forbidden to me. The three men who I want to call mine.

They might not like the new me—the dominant me—but I’ll teach them how to kneel.

Sometimes, happiness can’t exist in the darkness. Even with my men at my side, it still might not be enough to save my daughter and me from our stalker who’s determined to ruin it all.

One thing I know for sure is that we’re all… devastatingly monstrous.

I received this book as an ARC and I am reviewing it for free. 💜 Holy shit this book was so good! I don’t think I have ever rooted for a group of people so hard. These characters are by far the best I’ve read this year so far! Cosmo and Beck are absolute goals. Snake and Astra are literal fire! Them together are absolute magic. And Lavender is by far my favorite character! She is the cutest. I need her book NOW!

⭐️ Awesome Addition to Series

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Review

This is book two to Art Sapphire’s Corpses Of Hell Series. This is an interconnecting standalone and focuses on a whole different woman with three love interests while also incorporating characters from first book since they interconnect through their MC and their rock band. That is the aspect I love most about this series the MC lifestyle and family. I haven’t really read many rock band romances but I definitely like how it mixes with the MC in this series.

Astra is their MC Princess and after events that happened in book one she finds herself finally free and able to get the two men, Cosmo and Beck, she pushed away to keep her father from targeting them back. And she also wants her hot as sin bodyguard Snake too. It’s a struggle for them because they also struggle with Beck leaving the MC altogether when he took it over. They all felt abandoned so it’s a slow start to forgiving and working things out. Astra also comes to terms with an aspect about herself that she never accepted and that’s as a Dom, but she is now her men’s Queen so now is her time to break out of her shelf and be who she is meant to be. Their story really is one that you have to read.

There is so much going on and theres a lot chemistry and heat between these characters. It’s emotional and raw. It’s not all perfect though, these characters struggle and grow together. And there is danger in the form of a stalker that Astra must keep herself and her daughter safe from. The ending leaves us on a tragic note that also leaves an opening for the next book in this series. Definitely a series I’d recommend reading.

I’m obsessed with the Corpses of Hell! Monstrous was an emotional rollercoaster right up to the end.

Astra is the only female member of the Corpses of Hell MC, until her brother’s girl becomes part of the club. But she’s still the HBIC, even though her brother is the one running the club. Still holding on to the trauma of her father’s abuse and now the betrayal of her husband, Astra finally starts to let the past go and starts to become the woman she used to be, before her father ruined everything. But he’s gone now, and she’s got a chance to rebuild her life, not only for her, but for her daughter Lavender.

Snake, Cosmo, and Beck will do whatever they can to make sure Astra and Lavender are taken care of and protected from the stalker who’s been following them for years, but what happens when their protection, and the protection of the club isn’t enough?

This book was so good, sad and emotional at times, but still so good. And the steamy scenes!! Astra and her guys work so well together! Be sure to check the trigger warnings, as some scenes may not be suitable for everyone. I can’t wait for Lavender’s book…especially after that ending!!

I received an ARC for an honest review

This book comes with trigger warnings, please head the note from the author

In a moment of unbridled passion Astra gives her innocence to Beck and Cosmo, but there moment of happiness comes tumbling down when her hand is forced by her father to make a choice, and the only choice she can make, breaks more than one heart, for her choice has consequences, one’s that she pays for by her fathers hand.

And one decisions leads her to she enters into a loveless marriage to a man she doesn’t love, to appease her fathers ideals of what a marriage is and should be, and with her daughter to care for she knows she can whether any storm.

And the moment of truth comes when her father and his following pays for there transgressions, making Hero, her brother the next president of Corpses of Hell MC and her the princess.

But nothing comes more of a shock to Astra when she learns of not only of her husbands betrayal but his infidelity, that has her hurting on the inside, but more worried what it will do to her daughter.

Snake and Cosmo are on tenterhooks, with Blake no longer in the picture, they are left to wonder, the one woman that they both love secretly, will she accept who she is and there love for her. But unbeknownst to them, she harbours that same feelings too.

But as they are dealing with the fallout with Blake, whilst they are on tour, they are contending with a stalker who is targeting both Astra and Lavender, which leads to the return of Beck, the tension so thick from things that were left unresolved.

Beck and Cosmo dance around each other, there anger and frustration palpable, there is still unresolved feelings between the both of them, and when truths are finally shared, do they come to an understanding and give into there undeniable attraction.

As they move onto the next town for there tour, does the stalker continue to leave there parting gifts, that has everyone one edge. And then it all finally comes to a head between Astra, Snake, Beck and Cosmo, finally coming into her own power, accepting who she finally is, allowing herself to give into her dark desires without restriction without being held back, she frees her inhibitions becoming one with Snake, Beck and Cosmo in a night of unbridled passion. And what floors her more is the acceptance she receives from her brother of her relationship with her three guys that she can now freely love.

Then things take a turn one night at there concert, decision final they head home. Only danger follows them, do Snake and Astra fight with every fibre of their being, with Lavender been taken, everything is on a knifes edge, does Astra suffer a shocking loss. But what shocks them the most is the elusive Joker, who gives them vital information, do they locate Lavender, shocked at the trauma she herself has endured, but more-so the elusive gift that the Joker has left them.

Once Astra and Snake are discharged from the hospital, there’s and Lavender’s lives forever changed as they deal with the fall out, but what is more satisfying for Astra is when she fulfils her promise, giving back two fold to the one person that has caused her and her family unimaginable pain, can they finally move forward.

This book has it all d/s themes, possessive dominant alpha female, three strong men who give as good as they get, bending the knee for there queen, complex family and friend dynamics, murder, madness, mayhem, revenge, vengeance, violence, deception, adrenaline seeking suspense, jealousy, twists, turns, truths and betrayal.

This story is told from multiple POV, it will take you on a wild ride, having you turn page after page, this book had me from the beginning to the end. Reading this story, it enables the  readers to really connect with the characters, and as the story continues to unfold the readers see the development and growth from the characters singularly and together.  The author definitely knows how to write and I’ll be coming back for more.

And those MM, MFM and MFMM s*x scenes, were steamy, yet sensual, dirty, hot, intense, physical, provocative, it had all the angry angst, hate, jealousy, pleasure and passion one would expect when Astra shows her guys who she really is, taking her for all that she is, darkness and all. For she takes what she wants without consequence, giving Snake, Cosmo and Beckthe pain and pleasure they deserve, her possessive and obsessive need for control and dominance, it was off the charts and had all of the feels.

Cannot believe that this is the end of there story, but all good stories must come to and end, they got there happily ever after, and as we fast forward we are given insight as to how Lavender has dealt with her trauma as the shift in the storyline focus on her and what is yet to come.

Highly recommend this book and author!

I want to start off with the fact that I was given the arc for this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

This is the second book of Corpses of Hell, while its an interconnecting as a standalone it still focuses on different women and their love interests. I will admit that I wasn't typically into the whole rock band/singer trope but decided to give this series a try and I was NOT disappointed. This book is an extremely well written book just like the first one was. You could say that I'm not officially obsessed with this series and cannot wait to see where it leads.

Astra is not only the MC princess but the only female member of the Corpses of Hell MC (until her brother's girl joins the club). She suffers trauma from her fathers abuse and the betrayal of her husband however she begins to let the past go in order to let Cosmo, Beck, Snake in. She lets herself become the woman she used to be before her fathers abuse ruined everything. She can now focus on herself and on making a better life for Lavender.

There is a struggle for the four of them as Beck leaves the MC altogether when he took it over, I'm sure they felt abandoned by him but they eventually forgive and work things out. Her three men are willing to do whatever it takes to make sure that not only are Astra & Lavender taken care of but also protected from the stalker whose been following them for years. There's such amazing chemistry between each character! But will their protection and the protection of the club be enough to keep Astra and Lavender safe?

The ending of the book ends on a tragic note however it also leaves for an opening for the next book. There are sad and emotional moments within the book as well as steamy parts. It's definitely highly recommended!! Be sure that you check trigger warnings!

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

The darkness inside me is becoming all-consuming. I've hidden my true self from the world for far too long. This is the second book in this series. This story of Astra is amazing. One you will not put down. She is the only member of the Corpses of Hell MC until her brother's woman joins. However she is the woman so to speak. She is a woman who has been through a lot and holds on to a lot of trauma from her fathers abuse along Monstrous easier and her daughter too. Snake, Cosmo and Beck are three guys in the club who will do anything for Astra and Lavender to make sure that they are always safe. However there is danger looming big time in the form of a stalker and he will not be stopped. Will her three protectors and the club be able to keep her safe? You have to read to find that out. This book has all the twists and t urns and moments that will has you just in a utter mess because their som much going on.

This book was so good. This is by a new author for me and one that I'll be checking out her other book's. This is a dark MC story with triggers , so you might need to read the warnings before reading the book. I didn't realize when I read the blurb that this was actually book two in the Corpses of Hell MC, but I'll probably be grabbing the first book to read Hero's story.

This was about Aster the older protective sister who's father is the prez of the Corpses of Hell MC he believes that women should be obedient, meek and not a shit stirrer. Aster has taken his abuse always for those she loved to protect them and she's buried the resentment the rage towards him until something dark has started festering waiting to the day she can get her revenge. She has these grown up with Cosmo and Beck her whole life and they fell in love with her as she did with them until 1 day when something bad happened and she knew then that they couldn't be together that she couldn't love 2 men that it was wrong according to her dad that she would have to choose 1 or the other, so she chose no one. You could feel the bitter anger she felt of having to suppress who she was, of not being able to be with them it was so emotional my heart just broke for her.

There were so many twists and turns and omg how much more can she take moments it had me flipping pages just to find out what was happening next. I loved all of these character's, but Lavender and Savage stole my heart. I cannot wait to get my hands on her story I’m sure she's going to have me all in my feels.

I would absolutely recommend one clicking and enjoy the wild ride.

Monstrous
By: Art Sapphire
3.5 ⭐️
I want to start off by saying I received this ARC in turn for an honest review. Thank you to Art Sapphire and her team at Peachy Keen.
If you read Villainous then you will recognize most of the characters throughout this book, and I highly recommend reading it first! This book is a why choose, MC/Rock band romance. There are a lot of triggers in this book as well, and I suggest you take a peek before you dive in. I will not list them because they are potential spoilers.
Astra has been dealt a rough life I would say. From an abusive father to a loveless marriage, but she comes out on top. She has a wonderful group of guys who love her and her daughter, Lavender, more than anything. With a stalker on the loose, they all stop at nothing to protect them. Snake (my favs), Cosmo, and Beck are her love interests and they all compliment her in a way that makes them perfect!

I really loved Villainous and could not wait for Astra’s story. There are a few things that I’d like to say. While this book is multiple POVs, I think it was a bit repetitive, especially in the beginning. Astra’s character almost didn’t seem to flow naturally, although I loved the male characters. I enjoyed seeing Hero, Rebel, and Maisie throughout the story. The actual story line was intriguing and I was curious how it would all come together. A little nervous at times because I was worried for my boo.
As stated before, please look at the trigger warnings, there are a lot in this one.

OMG! My heart is aching after finishing this incredibly emotional story. The intense passion and love throughout the pages filled my heart with joy. But there was also an incredible amount of heartache, pain and anger that kept my heart in a vice, squeezing every last drop of blood out of it continually throughout the last half of the story. It was gritty, raw and gut wrenching and I wasn’t sure how there was going to be any kind of happy ever after in the end.

Astra shows us that even through the worst pain and heartache, she will survive, become stronger, fiercer and be the queen she was meant to be. She can finally let her demons out to play!

”I was born in darkness and I don’t know how much longer I can keep it inside me. We’re all cloaked in darkness. Some of us are just really good at hiding it under a pretty facade. We’re all monsters in our own right. At some point soon, I’ll show them just how monstrous a powerful woman can be.”

When Beck, Cosmo and Snake finally get their heads out of their butts and let Astra know exactly how they feel, everything changes for them, making their family finally complete. The angst and sexual tension between all four of them was extremely hot, panty melting and definitely had me wanting to combust.

This was an absolutely amazing story that had me riveted to my seat with my heart beating uncontrollably throughout. I laughed, I sobbed and my heart was filled with so much love. It was one hell of an emotional rollercoaster ride to be taken on, but I loved every second of it.

I can’t wait to read Lavender’s story next.

After having read Villainous i couldn't wait for more from this world! As soon as this second installment was announced i started looking forward to it right away. I picked it up and got right back into the Corpses of Hell world! I so enjoyed this story!

Astra, Cosmo, Snake, and Beck's journey pulled me in right from the get go! As Astra's world is shaken up she is determined to take her life into her own hands. Can she give into how she feels for Cosmo, Snake, and Beck? and can they handle everything thrown their way?

I really liked how i got into Astra, Cosmo, Snake, and Beck's story so quickly! The care and connection these four had was beautiful to me. Astra was such a kick-butt heroine. I loved what Cosmo, Snake, and Beck all brought to the story, especially with their realness. I didn't know how everything would play out for these four and it isn't easy which got me even more into their story. From the off the charts heat to the moments that had me the edge of my seat, I thoroughly enjoyed this story!

It was awesome being back in the Corpses of Hell world!

With Monstrous, Art Sapphire has created such a good and dark read filled with feels and steam! I am so looking forward to more from this author and series!

Be sure to read the author's content warning.

Since the release of its predecessor, Ive waited for this book, and it did not disappoint. Astra is undoubtedly one of the fiercest book women I've read and I love that for her. I love the freedom she found in this book to own her ferocity, her power, and her control. She elevated herself from an abused child, to a princess, to the queen, and she took no prisoners while doing so.

I loved her relationships with the men, and I loved each man and their own complexities. Beck was so soft and pliable for her, while Snake warred with her for dominance, and cosmo always gave exactly what was needed. It was a perfect balance.

Beck and Cosmos relationship, it's trials and tribulations, added an extra emotional layer. I could FEEL the release of tension when Cosmo finally gave into his feelings.

And the twists towards the end devastated me. I was in tears for Astra and snake during a particular scene, and screaming and throwing the book for Lavender.

I am absolutely THRILLED that Lavender will be getting a book, and I can not WAIT to read it.

Astra’s story is one wild MFing emotional rollercoaster of a ride. So buckle up because things are about to get Monstrous.

One night of unrestrained passion leads to one of Astra’s most happiest moments. Followed by one of her worst, when her father forces her hand and makes her break more than one heart.

Fast forward a few years and Astra is still dealing with the traumatic events laid out by her father. As she starts to finally let go of the past, three men step up to the plate. Will they finally be able to get their second chance? Or will danger strike again…?

I love the romance between Astra, Snake, Cosmo, and Beck. I’m so happy we finally see them come together, after learning about them in the last book. The guys are amazing and I adored their protectiveness toward Astra and especially Lavender. The storyline is intriguing, but honestly Villainous is still my favorite. So, I’m glad we got to see Hero, Rebel, and Maisie in this one. Overall, Monstrous is still a great story and definitely one to read.

“We’re all monsters in our own right. I’ll show them just how monstrous a powerful woman can be.”

3.5⭐️ This was a good read in the end. Took me a bit to get into though.

There was a lot of emphasis on her “coming into power kind of trope” in the first 50%. I felt like it was overdone because every single chapter was from a different POV, but kind of expressed the same thoughts. I felt as though this aspect of her personality could’ve been explored in like three chapters max but it kinda strung out for the first half of the book which I found a bit overkill.
Lots of repetitive dialogue and themes.

The femme domme thing kind of felt forced at times and I understand she’s just coming into this part of her personality, but it felt really awkward at times and a bit cringe for me.

Daddy snake with the ladder ooof! If only Becks and Cosmo were twins! Ding!

The second part of the book flowed a lot better imo. I really enjoyed the joker plot line and am excited to read the next one!

I enjoyed this book, but I am really excited for the next book. This book left me with so many questions about Lavender, Savage, and the Joker. I need the next book so that hopefully some of those questions can be answered.

I liked Astra and the strong side of her that she let out as the book progressed. I absolutely loved Snake! He was so supportive of everything and was so good with Lavender. I liked Beck and Cosmo; the tension between them at the beginning was great. Their story is good, but I felt like it was overshadowed for me by everything that happened with Lavender. I felt like I was on an emotional rollercoaster and was heartbroken with everything going on. I just want more of Lavender. I want to know who the Joker is and what happened to make Savage be so closed off. I liked Astra and her men, but the rollercoaster just left me needing the next book.

I would recommend reading the trigger warnings because there are potential triggers throughout the book.

Mending 💔 &

A savage rift tears Astra and her two lovers apart until years later she is unhappily married to Blake... The storyline and the result is in the first book of the series. With someone named Joker, Astra and Lavender's stalker, leaving his death as a gift.

Monstrous, from submission to dominance, Astra rose from the blood, sweat and ashes of her past stronger 💪 As a single mother to Lavender, she placed her crown 👑 on her head, sat back and watched as the three men who will do anything for her, kneel before her 💕

Beck, Astra's first
Cosmo, Beck's and Astra's first 😘, the hacker
Snake, Astra's bodyguard

Steamy 💋🔥 MFMM & MM scenes along with a lot of emotional darkness 😔💔 definitely tugs at your heart. Reading between the lines as you go through the entire book though, you hope that the author writes about certain characters next. The epilogue and the first chapter of the next book will help mend the heart 💋❤️

Monstrous by Art Sapphire

Ratings:
⭐️: 4/5
🌶: 3.5/5

Quote: “It’s okay to change, Astra. It’s okay to be yourself. No one is stopping you now.”

Tropes: MMFM, second chance, possessive MCs, dark MC romance, rockstars, traumatic pasts

——————————————————

This was a bittersweet tale of the romance between Astra, Snake, Cosmo, and Beck. Each has their own dark past that has helped shaped them into the strong, kickbutt people they are in this story. A lot of this story focused on the characters trying to move on from the past. In this one, Astra was the reluctant one, and it made for an interesting series of events. But all four had to grow and face their pain in order to be happy. All I know is that I NEED Lavender’s book ASAP.

I didnt think this could top Villainous but oh my god 🙌 I was fascinated by astra in the first book and was so excited to hear her story ❤️ this book was dark and beautiful and perfect in every way

Astra is the princess of the corpses of hell mc and one of the band members of the biggest rock group in America. She's spent her whole life being someone she was forced to be not who she really felt she was. When someone from her past comes back and everything she ever wanted is just within reach she siezes everything she ever wanted.

I literally do not have a bad word to say about this book. I can't even describe how much I loved it and now we have to wait for lavenders story but I feel like it might even top this book ❤️

I've got such a lady boner for Aster, OMG! Lavender is the freaking cutest, and Snake is adorable with his protective side for these girls, and his cocky attitude. Beck and Cosmo had me panting with their chemistry. Together, they were freaking EXPLOSIVE.

Also, I love how Aster took charge; femme fatale, babes!! Not only in their relationship, but she's the backbone of this club, and I couldn't be more in awe of this lady❤️

My heart broke for Lavender when she withdrew herself into a shell after the "incident"💔

This book is an MMFM, and please check the trigger warnings with steam and spice and swoon-worthy moments.

(P.S.: I can't low-key wait for Dangerous. And getting antsy to know who's Joker)

I knew going into this series that there were going to be so many aspects due to what I read in the first book. My heart was on a vice so many ways in this amazing dark book. Astra is such female lead goals. What she did and went through her whole life and how she protected her men, brother, and her daughter. I am just in awe. But to watch her finally take control of her dark dom side, it was so hot. Each one of the men that claim and worship her are so different, but they can not do anything but surrender to the queen. Once again, Art did such a great job with the suspense, and I was on the edge of my seat at the end of this book. CAN NOT WAIT UNTIL BOOK 3.

Monstrous is book #2 in the Corpses of Hell series. This is a dark why choose. Make sure to check the trigger warning.

I fell in love with Art Sapphires writing when I read Villainous and I am even more in love now!!!

After finally having her dream come true of being with Cosmo and Beck, Astra's world comes crashing down and she has to make a choice that changes their lives.

I adore Astra, Snake, Beck and Cosmo!! This book will keep you on the edge of your seat and turning the pages as fast as you can to find out what happens next.

I don't want to give anything away, just read this book as soon as it releases!!!

I really liked the first book in this series so I was looking forward to this one. While it was an enjoyable read, I didn’t connect to it as much as I did with Villainous.

I think my biggest issue was the way the characters were portrayed. Aside from Snake, who was hands down my favorite, the characters didn’t make sense to me. Everyone is supposed to be these bada$$ MC members/rockstars but they frequently came across as whiny in my opinion.

That’s not to say the book isn’t worth a read. I did enjoy the story as whole, the spice was good, and it left us with an ending that is definitely intriguing. I have high hopes for the next book in the series based on how things were left.

This was a somewhat dark read, which made it all that much more better in my eyes. It was also heartbreaking at some points as well. I'm happy Astra finally came out of her shell and got what she deserved. My heart broke for Lavender. To be so young and go through the trauma she did was horrible! I have a feeling she's going to be more like her mother than we thought. I think Joker and Savage are going to be the ones to bring her out of her shell. Joker was just waiting for her to become "of age" before he made his move. The first chapter of the next book has me intrigued and I can't wait to read it.

I absolutely loved the first book in this series. Book 2 has raised some questions for me and that's a good thing. I have loved seeing the transformation that is occurring with the characters. With that being said ...

This is not your typical MC style romance, it is a lot darker, and actually shows all the tension with the characters while they are navigating through their world. I like that this can be read as a standalone, but I still suggest reading book 1 because you do have a few interconnective points through the book.

Book 2 def sent me through my emotions and def made me go "OHH!!!" and almost want to throw my kindle a couple of times.

Art has done a great job moving this series along and with book 3 hopefully on the horizon ... I cannot wait to see where it keeps going.

Well Astra has loved Cosmo and Beck when they finally connect she is forced to give them up. Things go down she takes the abuse and submits to a loveless marriage. She and Hero her brother run the club their way after getting rid of their father. I loved Snake he was loyal as heck, loved Astra from distance. There is a lot in this story, abandoned lover, betrayal, violence, death, spice, anger, regret, danger and more. I liked this better than Villainous.

Monstrous is the second book in the Corpses of Hell series. Please check Trigger Warnings before Reading. This story had so many great factors that came into play. This story had suspense, action, raw emotions and more. The MMCs in this book are Amazing and throughout the story you want more and more. This book does contain some very steamy scenes that include MM and MMFM. I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more from Art Sapphire in the future.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We once again join this mixed world of MC and Rock Star. This brings characters from book 1, of course, but also Beck from another Art Sapphire series who I have been eager to know more about. This has action, suspense, spice, and some fabulous moments of the wonder that is Astra. Great read, and then we have a taste of what's to come, and I am here for it!

I don’t even know where to begin with this one. I went through such a gambit of emotions and my heart is still breaking thinking about it. I have really fallen for these guys. And I loved the fact we got some updates on Maise and the guys too since they are in the same world.

What a rollercoaster ride!! My heart hurts for Astra and her story!! I knew it was going to be a wild ride for her at the end of book 1, but WOW!! I absolutely am invested in these characters lives & can't wait to continue on to read about Lavender.

I loved Astra in Villainous but she had to conform to others and was never allowed to be who she really was. I’m so happy she was her own true life in this book she had her ups and downs but in the end she got her HEA with the two loves of her life .
