What I'm saying is, Cara freaking NAILED IT with this one! THIS is the kind of books I live for! I was already enjoying the book, then she went and threw a bØmb of a twist towards the end, and I'm not even joking when I tell you my JAW COLLAPSED ON THE FLOOR!!! 😱😱😱 I didn't see it coming at all, ME, the one who usually figures out or at least makes theories or assumptions around the plot ( that usually turn out to be true! ), couldn't for the life of me see that one coming!
Leo truly lived up to the definition of the " morally grey MMC " ! He couldn't begin to comprehend the meaning of the words empathy, mercy or love! His life was a mess, so it was no surprise he turned out as ruthless as he was before finding the woman who made his heart beat for the first time in YEARS! 😫❤ it's hard for men like him to show their emotions or HAVE ANY for that matter! Because in their world that's considered a weakness, but his love and will to sacrifice himself for the woman he loved exceeded Ali's expectations, and truly made him earn my respect for that!
Ali's life wasn't any better! With the amount of trauma she experienced as a kid, I was surprised she didn't lose her sanity at some point 😭💔 her character has all the empathy I could give! Her story is proof that sometimes, no matter how hard you try, the world will still show no mercy or humanity to you 💔 I mean sure, she got her happy ending and I freaking LOVED that for her! But to think about all she had to face in order to reach that level of serenity and happiness, it was honestly BRUTAL! 😤😭💔 she couldn't have a degree, a job or even a d*mn ID for that matter! To the world, she was nothing but a ghost 😞💔
I can't believe I've already finished it when I only started reading it this afternoon! Now I'll be impatiently waiting for Ben and Roxy's story! 😏🔥

I loved the beginning, and Luna and how all of that took place. I really liked the pacing since it was a faster paced book.

Ali is a thief. She breaks into a hotel room to steal something. When she try’s to make her escape she finds a bunch of men outside. She hightails it into a party where she runs into Leo, a breathtakingly handsome man. Leo is a hit man for the bratva he killed a man outside but is stuck at the hotel because he didn’t get away fast enough. Inside he meets Ali, he sees her and instantly wants her in whatever capacity he can get her. They have a passionate night and go their separate ways. Years later Leo is given a job and it turns out that woman he spent the best night of his life with is now his target…. This book was HOT and highly recommend.

Leo and Ali are FIRE!!
These two honestly had so much chemistry and I was sucked in the minute they laid eyes on each other. They are definitely two strong-willed, wild characters and I thought they were perfect together. Mix them in with twists and turns, lies, betrayal, murder, action, and a dirty-talking alpha and you have one enjoyable read.
My only gripe was with how fast they connected... I'm personally not a huge fan of any kind of insta-love, I prefer much more push and pull, but luckily it didn't detract from the story too much. I also would have LOVED to see more of Ali pregnant with Luna, it felt like we skipped right past such a monumental part of her life.
All in all, this was an enjoyable read, and I look forward to more from Cara.

Always hit jackpot when i meet new author for me with nasty way of writing! Lol
Perfectly depraved, nasty, rough and super kinky with no remorse, this book held me captive from the first chapter!
But more than the smegsi scenes, more than the perfectly dark mafia world, i love the characters!
Leo is my kind of nasty and cruel dominant alpha. But Ali, i love this woman for her bravery and she's kicking a*$ with how she manage to handle the bratve assasin.
I love their chemistry. Super hot and knock down your sense of morality out of the door!.

The first was better, but this one had a different vibe. It was more dangerous and more violent. Our hero was way rougher and violent than the first. The heroine is the same way. This one in the series might turn people because off. The book is rougher and so is the sex. The couple like it very rough and bloody. Be prepared going in on this one

To start with READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS the author has put at the beginning of the book. This is an excellent story and is absolutely one of my top reads for 2022 but it's not for the faint of heart. Ali and Leo are two who probably should have never crossed paths but they and journey is an all encompassing story and once you start this book will not let you go until the last page. I love these characters and the path they take to their happily ever after is far from easy. Lucky for them they know the ins and outs of the world they live in and they know how to win. Ali is absolutely FIERCE and is as dangerous as Leo. This is a winning duo if there ever was one!

This is the first book i have read by Cara Bianchi and omg I loved it! This is the second book of the East Coast Bratva series. This book is a stand alone so can be read in any order.
Let's talk about the cover i do live a good cover! I would say it reflects the good perfectly! Plus you get a good idea on the very handsome Leo.
The 2 main characters Ali and Leo as just perfection. Both very similar, individually they are both independent and self assured. Which i love! Ali is so strong and determined really strong FMC. Leo is just... "sign". I loved his mysterious low key alpha vibes and he just knoe all the right things to say 🔥😉
When they meet it is very clear from the start the attraction and chemistry between then is undeniable. Throughout the book this shows. The book has a good flow and pacing. The suspense and spice is just great.
Overall really enjoyed this book. I will definitely be reading the previous book and hopeful more in this series!

Ali and Leo depart not saying kind words but years later they meet again under suspicious timing? There is someone out there wanting to end any loose ends left of Leo’s affairs. Someone k owns of Ali but who? I got a little lost in the mix of things, but got it by almost the end of the story. Can Leo the ghost and Ali find a way to be together? Will the powers at bay allow this? This was just an amazing hot story. Ali and Leo. He's an assassin for the Bratva and she's a thief. They meet and share a night together. They Ali doesn't see Leo for the next three years. Now Leo is sent to kill Ali and he finds that it's the woman he spent the night with. I love that they still think of each other. Leo is in for the surprise of his life when he sees his daughter. There is plenty of lies, corruption, betrayal, darkness, possessive, dominate, and protective of Ali and their daughter. Who wants Ali dead? You need to read the story to find out. Fantastic.

Absolute-freaking-thrilling story with lots and lots of spice to it. Both the MCs are way different from each other but when you get to know them, they are not so different at all. The excitement of reading the story from dual POVs is amazing and gives more light to the story and to the characters. Reading about their thoughts is an utter delight in this one, even after all the mayhem happening acting their lives.
Can anybody say that one small meeting will leave an epic impression?? Here that meeting was purely accidental but the impression it lasted was mind-blowing. Leo and Ali felt like fated mates and their obsession bought spice to the story. It’s a fast-paced story with all the actions you can think of. The climax came like a bomb is dropped and turned everything to 180 degrees. I enjoyed reading the story and loved the characters.

A new author to me I found this story enjoyable but markedly different to other bratva/mafia themed books.
The characters were well developed and engaging and I totally bought into them. Their relationship was deep and elements of that were dark and most certainly dirty. I enjoyed the underlying story and found it easy to follow but enthralling.
The underlying thing missing for me was it just wasn’t that dark (other than the intimate moments) enough for me. It was actually fairly light on the violence and quite tame in some ways.
Enjoyable regardless and if you want a book of this trope without the darkness this is the one for you.

Holy smokes what a great book! This just grabbed me right from the start! Leo is the twisted bad guy you just can't help but fall for in this book. I can totally see why Ali does!
All characters are written so wonderfully. The storyline so thought out with so many twists and turns and the end. The chemistry, heat and sizzle between Ali and Leo was combustible! It wasn't possible to put this book down for one moment!
So be be prepared to lose some sleep, cause your gonna enjoy this Twisted Perfection!

I enjoyed this book and it was a quick read for me. I thought the plot was solid but I just needed a bit more character development. Maybe I read books that are really dark and I don’t have any triggers but I didn’t think this book was that dark. There are potential triggers though so be sure to check out the trigger warnings in the beginning of the book.
I liked Leo and Ali. There is definitely more to both of them then we are able to see when they first meet. I enjoyed the big twist in the book even though it wasn’t completely unexpected.
I would be excited for a book about Roxy and Ben. For some reason those side characters just drew me in.
I enjoyed this book and it was a quick read for me. I thought the plot was solid but I just needed a bit more character development. Maybe I read books that are really dark and I don’t have any triggers but I didn’t think this book was that dark. There are potential triggers though so be sure to check out the trigger warnings in the beginning of the book.
I liked Leo and Ali. There is definitely more to both of them then we are able to see when they first meet. I enjoyed the big twist in the book even though it wasn’t completely unexpected.
I would be excited for a book about Roxy and Ben. For some reason those side characters just drew me in.

Cara knew what she was doing in grabbing your attention and keeping it. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read some more of her work!

This was a different interesting read. Ali has been through it. But still a strong FMC she does the dirty deed with Leo but there isn't rainbows and sunshine. Fast forward now, they are face to face years later when she is his target. Whoops there are also secrets galore to keep you guessing. A great steamy intense read. My first by Cara that has me wanting to read more.

Oh yes give me all the touch her and die vibes. Throw in a protective MC and all the mafia vibes and this was a winner for me. Leo and Ali were great together. This book was filled with secrets and lies and betrayal and the way the story was weaved together was executed to perfection. This will have you on the edge of your seat wondering what is going to happen next. I read this baby in one sitting because there was no way I could put it down I needed to find out how it all would end. If you love an obsessed alpha man and a FMC who doesn’t take any crap and great plot twists then you need to pick this one up asap.

This author is new to me and I’ll definitely be reading more. I enjoyed this book, the plot was really good and the characters were really likeable. I loves both the male and female characters. I enjoyed their banter and their chemistry is really good. The steamy times were off the chart!!Loved it!

I loved everything about this book. Leo and Ali had great chemistry and even better spice! Leo is now one of my favorite book boyfriends, and Ali wasn’t some damsel. She was badass and a fierce mama bear. The story and back story melded together nicely and the ending was awesome!.

I had my doubts about signing up for this ARC but, I'm glad I did. It was one hot page turner,before I know it I was at 26%.
I love that Leo was an assassin and Ali was a thief-its like a match made in heaven ❤️ and I love how Leo became a family man in the end

I was drawn in from the first page and I had to keep reading until the last page. Cara has done it again and created a book to be devoured, she is an amazing author. The characters are well developed and the storyline is thought out and well written. I highly recommend you read this book.
