Anyway, I'm sick of those BDSM books. Let's have more of these different kinky relationships. Hell, I kinda want to read some good furries books now (or anything that might come close).

This erotic novella is one of the best I’ve read so far. This book had most of my favourite kinks which made it so exciting to read. There isn’t much plot in this, it being a novella but it was interesting enough to read it in one sitting.
The idea of a kink app is fascinating, I would be curious to see how it would have worked out. It seems like a safe idea at the same time dangerous because the thought of landing in the wrong hands would freak me out.
I liked how there was a mutual understanding between Connor and Ivy before making the fantasy a reality, after care is very important after these type of kink plays and Natalia made sure to include it in this book.
I would have loved to see this novella as a full book! I think the descriptions of the kink plays and the plot would have been interesting.
I'm definitely going to read the rest of the Dirty Desires series!

I’m a huge fan of CNC/primal play but I didn’t enjoy it here. I felt like it was missing the raw emotions, the truly immersive experience of being chased and the thrill that comes with it. It glanced over the scene, giving just enough for it to work but didn’t delve beyond that. Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but it didn’t really do CNC/primal play any justice.

Anyways, books like this are quickly becoming my new guilty pleasure that I’m not one but guilty about! I am so into the whole idea of this particular dating app. Realistically could it be done exactly like this one and safely? Yea I’m not so sure on that one, but IF it could… 👀 It’s definitely a fun start to the story though and really sets the mood for the primal play. And let me tell you that whole chase was intense and I loved every minute of it! The author did a great job covering any communication the characters had and what, if any, limits they put in place for the scene. It was very well written in my opinion and highlighted that while it can be fun to engage in this kind of play, it can and should be done safely.
From start to finish it showcased some of the facets found in BDSM dynamics that I feel get misrepresented and/or misunderstood quite often.

Oh.. and it was hella spicy!! 😆

Almost immediately we are thrusted into Ivy’s ultimate kink and the steam is off the charts!!!! The chemistry between Ivy and Conner was so sexy. Dang. Even if this isn’t a particular fantasy of mine, it was still scorching.
Both praise and degradation are delivered with asserted alpha-ness that make you feel a mix of emotions yet ultimately can’t stop turning the pages. Then, the gentleness he also showed after plays out to be the perfect man!

Chase Me is my first Natalia Lourose book. Lord, have mercy because this primal read was epic! I think I read it in one sitting and took me forever to wrap my head around to write this review. I could not stop thinking about it. For sure, I'll come back to read it again. I can't wait for what's next in this universe!

Jumping straight into the scene was delicious, and I really enjoyed the but maybe because we only got Ivy's POV, it felt like we missed a little something? I'd have loved even just a paragraph or two from Connor's POV to give his character a little more depth.

a novella version of salacious player's club with a darker element to the kinks. do i wish this was longer? probably yes. do i wish it was darker? definitely. i still enjoyed it and the potential is there so i can't wait to see where this series goes, especially if it taps into more unexplored kinks.

Chase Me was my first delve into Natalia Lourose’s storytelling, and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that this small little word baby was a satisfying experience. I was promised suspense. I was promised a good time. I was promised some filthy ongoings. Aaaand Lourose delivered on all accounts.
A short story of acceptance and trust, we follow good girl Ivy’s journey of finding her path to rebirth by allowing herself to acknowledge what she wants is perfectly normal. She meets the mysterious and tattooed Connor through a dating app that provides a safe place to explore your deepest, darkest desires, finally giving into her needs. Their encounter begins with an electrifying chase, quickly turning into a deliciously carnal night neither will forget.
Lourose’s writing is engaging, perfectly paced and keeps you turning those pages. I read this in one quick sitting, and I was left with a dire need for more. With a healthy list of kinks to explore, I can only imagine what the rest of series has to offer – I’m very much looking forward to finding out! If you’re on the hunt (see what I did there?) for a quick steamy read, then I recommend giving this book a read. Loved it. Gimme more.

Just as the blurb promises the chase is real and it leaves you salivating for the outcome. Ivy & Connor are the personas for every wet dream. They both are hot as hell and define kinks at their best. The naughtiest dark romance. I really want a full novel on them, this one ended too fast. It was a short story. It was perfect and addresses the darkest fantasy a person can have and how it’s a struggle to express it in real life.
