Wow, what a read, I could not put it down no matter what I needed to do. It moves along at the perfect speed, slowing up and speeding up as needed. IT has interesting characters that you want to know and you cannot help but love. The story will keep you reading until the end and then you need more. This book is a must read, you will not be sorry that you did.

Axton. Wow. Yes. More. Please!!! When I read his bio, I didn’t expect an Alpha Roll - strong and hard on the outside, but soft and sweet inside.
First, I love the world building, consistent with prior books in the story, I feel like I’m reading about a real 1%er club. The thought and attention to detail (even for the side characters) is second to none.
The book was action packed, never a dull moment, making it a fast read for me. All I need to know is how to get to Bracken Ridge and where I can find a man like Axton!!

When Axton is released from prison after 10 years he knows he’s got to prove himself to his brother, parents and the MC. The MC has set him up with a job and a place to live so he’s starting off with a good start.
When Stevie meets Axton for the first time she’s feeling all kinds of things that she shouldn’t for her new employee. Axton is my new favorite in this series.
His “innocence” when it came to women was adorable and hot! Stevie and Axton are drawn to each other and it was just a matter of time before they broke all the rules to be together.
There is danger lurking from old prison mates and an ex that will keep you engaged in this story. This was a one sitting, page turning read for me and I loved all of it!

Axton is book 7 in the Bracken Ridge Rebels MC Series and I think it has to be my favourite one yet!!
I don’t want to give too much away, but what i will say is that just when you think it can’t possibly get any better, Mackenzy goes and gives us another guy to fall in love with and another book that we can’t put down!
Can we talk about the cover for a second because DAMNNNNN it’s so hot ! 🥵 This honestly has to be one of the best covers I have seen in a very long time! 😮💨
Axton is literal perfection! For starters, he is a dead set babe, but he is also protective, kind and honest. He’s an absolute hardass at times, but is a giant softie on the inside and I am here for it!!
Stevie is an easy character to love and is a breath of fresh air as an FMC! She is beautiful, strong, confident and stands up for herself. No drama, all love.
I genuinely loved everything about this book! I loved the story line, the character development, the plot twist and the relationship between Stevie and Axton!! Ax wasn’t the most confident of guys considering he had been locked up for 10 years, but the spice between the two of them was intimate, passionate, adventurous and fun!!! ❤️🔥
I just can’t get enough of them, they’re literally perfect for each other! I would quite happily read an entire series based on these two alone! Mackenzy I’m looking at you 👀

I received a copy of this arc in exchange for my honest review. Just like all the books in this series, this one was fantastic, and I think my favorite!
Axton is just released from ten years in prison, and gets a job at a the bar of his MC club he is now a part of. Stevie is the bar manager, and they both feel a huge connection and alll the chemistry when they first meet. Club rules, being together is off limits.
It doesn’t take long for them both give in to their feelings, and takes even less time for them to fall hard for one another.
This book was HOTTTT, but so sweet at the same time. I instantly fell in love with Ax and Stevie, the two of them had an instant chemistry and an instant connection. I loved how protective Axton was of Stevie, and I have a THING for Alphas!
This book had it all. The Heat, the Sweet, the alpha male, MC club and it was a page turner from the very beginning.
This is book 7 in the Bracken Ridge Rebels MC series, but can also be read as a standalone. Love love LOVED!! Highly recommend!

This is my first Mackenzie Fox novel and I was delighted!
Axton has served time in jail and now is trying to start anew as a prospect at the MC. His boss is Stevie, and the moment they meet, sparks fly. However, they each don’t want to get the other in trouble so they try hard to deny their attraction. But we all know how that will go.
I really enjoyed reading Stevie and Acton’s interactions, as it would feel like a romantic comedy at times and leave warm butterflies in my stomach. Stevie is a kick ass boss lady, who’s responsible and keeps the bar running. She is also silly at times and shows how much she cares for her family and the club. Axton feel like he has a lot to prove because of his past conviction and is troubled that he must feel this way, but he also is such an alpha cinnamon roll when it comes to Stevie. The two of them make a cute and spicy couple.
Along with that we have both Stevie and Axton having to deal with their past, Stevie moving on from a past love and Axton moving on from strained family relationships and a former inmate who would wish to see him behind bars again. We also see the return of fellow MC members and hints at the next story.
Overall, this was an enjoyable read!

We know a lot about Axton from prior books in this series, but we don’t actually know much about him personally. I was very curious where this book was going to go and I was so hopeful that Axton wouldn’t mess up (for both his sake and Brock’s). I loved seeing so much of Brock and Hutch in this book. Stevie was a refreshing heroine in this she was pretty secure in herself and was the boss in the workplace - she just couldn’t resist Axton. Axton was also a different sort of hero, in that he wasn’t the most sexually confident or experienced because he’s been in jail for a decade since he was 19. The interactions and scenes between Stevie and Axton were spicy and also fun. I really enjoyed the interactions and pull-push between the characters. A surprise towards the end made me emotional (in a good way), and I loved this book.

DAMN! Axton’s story was PHENOMENAL!!! I am so addicted to him that I need more! He’s definitely my new book boyfriend.
The story was action-packed, dark, gritty, violent and so damn steamy that there were definitely no dry panties to be found! Axton just oozes sex and at times he had me completely breathless with his filthy dirty talk. With Stevie, Axton was possessive and 100% the alpha she needed him to be. Their connection was incredible and the sexual tension between them was so thick you could cut it with a knife. These two together absolutely lit my kindle on fire!
Another fantastic and really well written story that was filled with secrets, betrayal, deceit, lust and passion. The twists and turns throughout kept me riveted to my seat, biting my nails with anticipation and gasping at everything happening right before my eyes.
I loved every deliciously dark second of this story and definitely need more Axton in my life.

Axton Altman might be an ex-con, but he is loving, caring, protective and will do anything for the ones he loves.
I love a good forbidden romance with a possessive alpha male and a strong female main character.
The amount of detail in this book makes you connect with Axton on such a real level.
The way that Axton helped Stevie find her real self was amazing.

OMG I did NOT see that coming. And god it was sooo good. Mackenzy seriously knows how to write amazing books.

With the help of his MC, Axton is re-acclimating to a world that he has never lived in with technology that is light years beyond what he remembered. When he becomes the supervisor at the bar Stevie owns, sparks fly immediately.
This book has all my favorite tropes: MC, possessive alpha male, “who did this to you”, forbidden romance, found family, and two fiercely protective main characters. This does have a HEA with plenty of opportunities to continue the series. After reading Axton and Stevie’s story, I now want to go back and read this world from the beginning. Y’all, go preorder this book now!

This is sooo good!!! Steamy, sexy and beautiful! It’s a roller coaster in emotions, it’s shut the F up and do it and then what the ?!? All of the emotions.
This is book number 7 and I just keep falling more and more in love with the Bracken Ridge Rebels family. Alpha males that protects their women. That they also have big d***s and good oral skills.. you don’t hear me complaining.
This is the best book when it comes to twists. Gunner is still my favorite but Axton is close after!

Mackenzy what have you done to me? Well, you have given me another alpha possessive book boyfriend. Axton even the name sounds yummy was marvelous. Oh did that sound cheesy. Really though he was a great main male character. This man's mental strength put a smile on my face. His body well that's a topic that can't be discussed on the internet. Then you have Stevie who was strong even when her heart was broken. She was forbidden. You could feel the steam coming off the pages of these two. It was an oh wow add in a small gasp and you catch what I am saying. I mean come on this is Ms. Fox here there was absolutely no disappointment with this book. Bravo for a job well-done dear.

Mackenzy really does a great job when it comes to this series. Axton has been in prison and wants to do anything he can to not go back. He is working for Stevie at the bar. She is a strong FMC, but having trouble not wanting more than a boss/employee relationship with Axton. These guys in this series are Hot as sin and very naughty. I love this series. This is a connection series with different couples. To get the best enjoyment it's recommended to read in order. I been excited about Axton's story when we first got glimpse of him. This book did not disappoint. The way he and Stevie were was amazing. We did get some major answers that have been ask through the series. I cant wait for the next brother.

A fast-paced spicy read with lots of emotions involved. Axton my boy is not a person can think of after being in the Joint for so long. I’m surprised by the way he’s portrayed and in a good way. His character contains darkness and what he does with it steals my heart. Stevie is the lady who sees good in things; anybody will be lucky to have her in life. The chemistry between them is phenomenal and from point one is easily visible.
The story is all about how Axton fair’s in the outside world and how he tackles every obstacle thrown in his way. It’s a light-hearted story that eases the mind. All the alpha male vibe coming off here makes my heart beat faster. There is nothing better than a possessive male and that makes the story hotter. Stevie is the sunshine and ray of hope for Axton, their bond grows in the journey and knows no bounds. A must-read for all Dark romance lovers.

Book seven in the Bracken Ridge Rebels MC. Anton did 10 year in jail. Now his out and his brother Brook has his back. The Mc got him a job working under Stevie. I love Axton and I think he is my favorite guy in the mc so far. I've read all or nearly all of the books in this series and I am in love with them. I love the sweetness and the overal happy feelings I get from this book and the hotness is on par. It is a series but the caracters change so it can be read as a stand alone romance. There might be caracters crossing from other books for sure but you won't mis something epic. Other then perfect romance that is.

What a powerful, real and sexy opening to this book and damn i am all for this. Axton instantly enables you to connect with him and he is swoonworthy with a dirty mouth.
There are some real beautiful interactions early on from Stevie & Axton that leave me day dreaming and in swoonworthy terrority for sure. But for me the realness of Axton and his true self leaves me falling effortlessly in love.
The plot twist in this *all hail the queen Mackenzy* Bravo it was unlike anything I've read and yet i devoured this beta read!! These characters are effortlessly beautiful and the MC's Hutch and co are a brotherhood for life which laces each page and every book of this interconnected series!!

Got my hands on this beauty as a Beta reader.
Let me just say you are not prepared for this one. The scenes between Axton and Stevie are page melting. If you have an ereader, it may catch on fire.
Axton is the ultimate bad boy with a soft side. Panty melting goodness right there. He made a mistake that cost him ten years, but a fresh start with a new job and prospecting for an MC is what he gets once out. His new boss is easy in the eyes and making he lose his mind. Stevie was dumped by her ex via text but he’s a distant memory when Ax comes to town.
Love these two together and getting to revisit the Bracken Ridge Rebels is always a plus. Their romance is drought with passion, emotion, and of course that all important danger.

However they have feelings that are real and growing and they can't take not acting on those feeling no matter what the rules are. This book has everything you love in a great romance. Ax and Stevie are pure fire and the feels are flying all over the place. This is a book that I couldn't put down.

This is a great addition to the series! Axton and Stevie are so sweet together. They had chemistry from the moment they met and their connection is so effortless. These two light up the pages in every one of their spicy scenes. Axton is a cinnamon roll with a dirty mouth, who LOVES to go down on his woman (love to see it). He's a bit possessive, which he was surprised to learn about himself. Loving Stevie comes so naturally to Axton and you can tell he would do anything for her. Stevie is great. She stands up for herself and knows what she wants.

There's a line in this book that talks about pregnancy that is fatphobic. Saying, "I'm going to be big, fat, and gross" when talking about pregnancy is fatphobic because 'big/fat' are being associated with 'gross'. That's fatphobic plain and simple. As a fat woman, it's so exhausting reading about casual fatphobia. It's important to have sensitivity readers for a variety of identities and topics for this reason.

First book I read by this author was Cash and I loved it!! Then tried Jett (NOLA), which didn't live up to Cash, but still pretty good. Now I'm reading Axton & it's getting hard to finish. Just not as interested in this story and I'm starting to skip pages to get through.
I like Axton & Stevie ok, but it's ridiculous that the club has so much say in who adults can & can't have a relationship with - understandable that they'd be protective of their grown daughters or sisters, et al, but not to the point of stupid, which some of them are. Stevie is just an employee and I know Axton is a prospect, but a storyline based on them hiding their relationship is just not that great a read. Still, I'm going to push through & finish reading so I can give it a fair rating. I'm more than half way through and hoping this gets a bit more...something!

I left it at 2 stars, but really isn't better than 2.5* at most. The story had promise & there was plenty of smexy, but the entire drama towards the end was a real eye roller - just bad. I am going to give this author another chance in the hope that Steel's story will be a better one; I really don't think it will live up to the scrumptious read that was Cash, but we'll see...
