Dangerous Lovers #1

In Death We Part

Rate this book
My routine was simple–classes, work, repeat–then an unearthed family secret changed everything. Four mysterious men shattered my life and stomped on the pieces until I had nothing left. They were strangers to me, but I was no stranger to them. They had been watching me… waiting until the time was right to strike. The peculiar, dangerous magic that surrounded them has always been there in the shadows, just out of sight to normal people. I needed to get away from these depraved, alluring monsters. Go somewhere they could never find me.

They said they would chase me, hunt me down because I belong to them. I may not have been the woman I spent years preparing to be, but I wasn’t their pawn or their property. I didn’t ask for danger to follow me like a shadow over my head, pushing me deeper into a world I am not prepared for. They promised they’d catch me, but they never expected that I was better at disappearing than they thought possible.

This book is meant for readers 18 and over.

Please In Death We Part is book one in a series. It is a dark, paranormal why choose romance.

Hard pass

I couldn't get past 46%. There was a lot I just didn't care for. The guys for one are well over thousands of years old, yet act like Fraternity brothers with ADHD. The author drives it into our heads that these men are Psychiatric big players in the demon world, and yet I just wasn't buying it. I couldn't take anyone at this point serious. Our H Diana, (sigh). Just why? She was falling apart half Hysterical most of the time, the other half like a cat in heat. There was no balance or logic within her character. I also had a hard time with the weird sexual things Diana said. One I can remember is " make my tits buzz". Honestly, who says that? Lol, come on!

What happens when the leader of hell puts a death hit out on you?

You meet 4 incredibly hot guys with not only a thing for you, but a thing for eachother, oh and you find out you're a powerful witch.

Diana was working and studying to become a law student when her world as she knew it was ripped away from her. Her family lied to her, manipulated her thoughts and she doesn't know who to trust. Diana is a curvy, beautiful girl with a smart head on her shoulders, I loved how sassy she was. But what happens when she's locked in a house with an incubi, a demon, a hellbound and a god?

I loved the guys, I loved their banter and the relationships between them. Ares is easily my favourite, he's his own brand of crazy and I love me a psycho!

The ending was such a great cliffhanger and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Diana Rossi was a normal girl with a normal life… at least, until she discovered that she had supernatural powers. Four darkly handsome men barreled into her life and took it over, claiming to want to protect her. Diana is determined to be her own woman, but their overwhelming need to claim her is destroying her resolve. She should be afraid, but somehow, she can’t help but feel intrigued…

Oh. My. God. This was such an incredible start to the series!!! I absolutely adore Maggie Bonnet’s writing, and this book did not disappoint. Everything about this novel was amazing, from the dark and humorous banter to the scorching hot steam. I loved the fact that each of the four men had their own, distinct personalities (although Ares was my favorite.) As for that ending… I still can’t believe it. I’ll be lying in wait to see what happens next!

Diana. She’s such a strong, resilient character, despite the fact that she’s so young. I felt like I could relate to her, which is always a huge plus for me! Ares. He’s a jokester, and a little unhinged, but that’s part of the reason why I love him. Bash. He’s very possessive, but there’s a sort of darkly seductive charm about him that was really fun to read about! Desmond. He’s the leader of the group, and he’s definitely got a dominant streak. And finally, Malcolm. He’s a bit of a jerk, especially to Diana, but I think he’ll be redeemed later. All in all, I most definitely recommend!

This book made you second guess everything!

What would you do if you found out your family had been hiding a huge secret from you. A secret so big, it would literally change your entire life. When Diana finds out that she is really not human, but a witch, from a very long line of witches and warlocks at the age of 22 and her family decided to hide this entire world from her - nothing makes sense but to run. Only when the most powerful demon in the world has put a hit on you for your magical stance, nowhere is safe.

When four men, 2 from previous encounters show up and kidnap her "for her own wellbeing," Diana doesn't know what to think. They lay out their cards and offer to teach her everything the know in exchange to help bring Satan down. After training and getting more powerful by the day, Diana is a where not everything is what it seems. Secrets are being hidden. Lies told. So when a fifth man arrives in secret, Diana feels she has no choice but to keep a few secrets of her own.

After things heat up and mate bites are unknowingly struck, everything seems to happen at once.
*********
This book is full of twists and turns that you feel are coming but don't quite know exactly what will happen. Diana is a strong FMC and wants to be owned by no one but herself. The guys are all very different but possessive. Ares is the crazy one. Bash is the over-the-top, never leave your side, ever type. Desmond is the Daddy, You will do what I say and when type. Mal is still a mystery but also appears to be affected. I feel like his comeback will have to be epic!!!! The 5th man is still a mystery. Do you like him? Is he a decoy for something bad? Im still undecided. Then the ending....After everything, we know it can't possibly end like that, but what does that mean for Diana? It's clear she's more than her mother's bloodline - but what about her father? I can't wait to find out!!!!

*Overall 4/5
*Heat? 5/5
*Fast Burn
*Lots of MM in harem
*Multiple first person POV
*Ends on cliffhanger

Started off strong, got a little stale and sluggish in the middle then from about the 70% mark it really started to become unreadable. Events / timelines started overlapping but there was no prior indication of it. You only realised it was happening when realising you were reading the same scene in a different perspective. This happened several times and some of the time it didn’t even make sense. Really disappointed as I was really getting into it but the constant out of sequence and confusing overlapping made it unreadable.

I dnf at 90%

Good but infuriating.

The jokes are not great, but the adventure was fun! The heroine is awash in double standards for the dudes.. which made me pull my hair out!

This was a really good read. It's my first for this author, and won't be my last. I really liked Diana for the fmc. I love how she didn't take any crap from the guys and how strong she was. The guys... dang they are overbearing but in a good way. I loved this version of Ares the God of War. To me this was a very different Ares to what I'm used to reading of him and I really liked it. You'll need to read this book to get anymore about the rest of the men in her life. I was totally not expecting that ending and there being a reveal like that! Never would have guessed it. I will definitely be here waiting for book 2.

I actually enjoyed this book more than I expected too. at first it took me a minute to get into, but I slowly got pulled in & not I wasn’t disappointed. this book had a lot of my favorites — reverse harem with guys who are also into each other, monsters, suspense, banter. all around it was so good & I really loved the dynamics throughout the last 2/3 of the book. i’m definitely excited to see what comes next as it will be a series.

thank you Peachy Keens for the arc!

First by this author, and I didn't like it as much as I thought I would. None of the relationships seemed believable. It started out interesting but got boring until the end. Probably will not continue with the series.

This book was phenomenal! The FMC is sassy, strong and a badass. She is also curvy to boot. I love a sassy and curvy main character. The guys all have completely different personalities, but it all works really well. The characters chemistry together is amazing and I enjoyed all of the spice! There's a bit of humor mixed in with some craziness and a pretty fantastic storyline. I am really excited for the next in the series! That is an epic cliffhanger though, so beware!

Overall, I would recommend this to anyone that loves RHs, strong female characters, fantasy and spice. It pretty much has it all, and you can't really go wrong with this book!

I was given an ARC copy of this book by the author. I was not obligated to review, and my views are my own.

In Death We Part is book one in the Dangerous Lovers series. As always, please check your trigger warnings before diving in! It’s a dark, PNR, RH with MM scenes, praise/ degradation and knotting! 🔥

I had such high hopes and knew I would love this book from the blurb alone and let me tell you it did not disappoint. It did start a little slow, which had me a bit worried, but that changed quite quickly and I ended up not putting it down!

I am absolutely hooked!!!

Diana is such a badass and I just love her! She is strong, sassy and confident as fuck; the perfect FMC !!

Sebastian, Ares, Desmond and Malcom are insanely hot, psycho, possessive alphaholes who are absolutely smitten by Diana!! They will do anything to keep her safe, even if that means taking on Satan himself.

Ares, Bashy and Des have my heart… I’ll take one of each please! They are absolutely crazy in the best possible way! ❤️‍🔥

I am still unsure about Mal, but I have a feeling that his redemption is coming and I’ll end up loving him too. Oh and Azazel, boy, I am so intrigued by that man.. There is just something about him that has me 🥵🥵🥵

I highly recommend this series to you all! The storyline is great, the chemistry between the characters is amazing, the banter is hilarious and the smut will have you drooling in multiple places 🤤💦🔥😮‍💨

I can’t wait to see where this series goes and for the next release! I need answers after tht cliffhanger and I need them now !

Diana had a fairly normal life until it was ripped out from under her. Finding out her family not only lied about who she really is but also manipulated her entire life….Diana doesn’t know what to believe or who to trust anymore. Throw in a kidnapping and four sexy men and you have yourself a fantastic story.

Diana gives as good as she gets, and shows the guys whose boss. The guys all bring something different to the table and I enjoyed their differing personalities.

In Death We Part brings us the steam, the MM, the mystery, and of course a crazy cliffhanger. Interested to see what happens next….

This is my first book by Maggie Bonnet and I think I'm in love. The Dangerous Love series checks a lot of boxes for me in regards to its heroine, Diana: curvy but has body positivity and lets negative comments roll right off of her, sassy, witty, confident, and hilarious. She's the complete package. Not to mention that she's completely clueless as to what she is, unfamiliar with the supernatural world, and will be a complete powerhouse if she learns to harness her powers. I always enjoy characters that start from the very bottom with their knowledge so I can be just as surprised as them when something incredible happens when they least expect it. I can't wait to see everything that Diana is capable of. This first book has already shown us so much and I have a feeling it is just the tip of the iceberg, especially if Satan considers her a major threat and has a target on her back.

The men in this series are one hundred percent alphaholes. A little bit on the toxic side, obsessive with stalkerish tendencies, or insane to a point of hilarity. But I'm not sure what you'd expect from a demon, an incubus, a god of war, or a hellbound. However, even with these seemingly negative traits, they turn into a huge positive when used to protect someone they care about. Ares, Bash, and Desmond would do absolutely anything to keep Diana and each other safe. Malcolm, even though Ares is for sure the wild one, is the main wild card at the moment. There is some type of pull towards Diana, but his feelings for the most part are jealousy and anger. It certainly causes some tension in the house and as well as issues within all the individual relationships. He's not one that I care too much for at the moment but I know there must be a reason for his behavior, and I'm hoping he gets some redemption later on since I can't necessarily blame him for some of his actions later on in the book.

Out of all the guys, I think Ares was the most surprising. I've never perceived Ares, god of war, as a comical, insane yet devoted god. I picture him as being more calm, collected, and calculative while dealing with issues, but I can't say that I hated this version of him. He ended up being one of the characters that I enjoyed the most and kept me laughing. I will say that the bloodlust and destruction he was known for was dead on for his character though.

This book has so many unique aspects to it as well as unexpected surprises that reveal secrets and other hidden information that the characters are keeping from each other. I don't think there will ever be a point where I have everything figured out before I get to the final page of the current book. I know I was never prepared for the cliffhanger at the end of this one. What a huge punch to the gut, but it definitely makes you want to come back for more despite it. I know the next book will be even more suspenseful and full of so many more revelations that we never saw coming. Thank you, Maggie Bonnet, for an amazing start to this series!

Diana is a beautiful, curvy, hard-working, intelligent undergraduate woman who plans to attend law school.  All this goes up in smoke when she finds herself faking her death and depending on the 4 Immortal Creatures tasked by Satan to kill her to protect her instead.  Sebastian had already claimed her, and it wasn't long before Ares was sharing Diana's bed with Sebastian. She turns their world upside down in a short time.  For a witch, Diana is extremely powerful, and they plan to use her to take out Satan. As Satan’s cleaners, will they be able to hide her and keep it together long enough to do so?

This book was extraordinary.  The magic descriptions were varied, impressive, and detailed. It was enjoyable reading how Diana learned to wield her magic.  It was also interesting to read the various depictions of the creatures in this book and some twists on the history of the Greek Gods.  This book includes lots of fun and exciting twists and turns that never seem to end.  The cliffhanger ending leaves readers with even more questions, and Diana becomes an even greater mystery!  I am still reeling and cannot wait for the next book.

The characters were my favorite part of the book.  Diana is a full-figured, plus-sized woman that is completely confident with her weight, often laughing off comments and owning it. She is a fast learner, fearless,  witty, and not afraid to spar with the men both verbally and physically. Sebastian discovered her first, and she is the first woman he has claimed; however, she is not the type of woman to allow a man to control her, often pushing him away despite their bond. Desmond enjoys teaching her magic and struggles to keep his control around her, constantly battling his urges.  As their group leader, he must stay grounded and ensure their plan goes as intended and doesn't result in a fate worse than death. Ares, the God of war, kept me laughing. Readers quickly learn he is unhinged and filled with bloodlust; giving body parts as gifts for his beloved is quite acceptable in his eyes. Malcolm is the only one not chasing her. He is insistent that things will not end well with their plans to use her to take out Satan.  The four men are best friends and lovers, providing some pretty steamy scenes.

I have no complaints about this book and give it 5 out of 5 stars.  The characters and plot are well written, and I cannot wait for more of this story.  It is a fast burn-burn, super spicy, reverse harem with lots of MM, MMF action. The story takes readers through lots of action and mystery with twists and turns along the way! It

This book is for adults only due to the graphic sex scenes and violence.  There are some triggers in this book kidnapping, dubious consent when one character claims Diana in a dream and her sleep, and most of the characters prefer some plain with their pleasure. Check out the triggers for this book before reading if you have any.  If you enjoy thick women that love themselves, sexual deviants, men that love to share each other and their woman, and sex scenes so steamy you might need to fan yourself while reading, you need to read

Story: 3.5-4/5
Spice: 4/5

I had the honor to receive an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. I finished it just as the book launched, so I’m happy to share my review with you.

For the plot:
This book launches you directly into the deep end at the very beginning, first introducing the reader to the first of the male characters, Sebastian, an incubus. He is immediately drawn to the female main character, Diana Rossi. I LOVE a plus-sized badass, and she certainly fit the bill. She is sassy, witty, and takes crap from no one. I adored her no-nonsense attitude and her witty puns. As Sebastian’s fascination with Diana grows, we learn that Satan (yes, that Satan) wants her dead and has ordered Sebastian’s “brothers” to take her out. We meet the rest of Bash’s motley crew; Desmond- a powerful demon and the leader of the group, Ares- the hot-headed god of war, and Malcom- the brooding hellhound. The four men act like brothers, but have a deeper relationship at home. The foursome kidnap Diana, who is a powerful witch (unbeknownst to her), and train her to help them defeat Satan.

My feelings:
The smut in the book is next level. The first spicy scene is only 15% of the way into this 400 page book, and it delivers. There is no shortage of kink, position changes, or dirty talk. While Bash and Diana are the first to “interact”, we get our first all male foursome within the next chapter. It is rough, dirty, and raunchy. These men do NOT go easy on each other. Once Diana is added into the mix, the readers get a better feel for each man’s personal dynamic and interests. Each smutty scene is different, extensive, and does not disappoint.

I did find myself getting confused between speakers, especially with the men. They had similar speaking styles, and apparently each had a different accent, so they tended to run together. I also struggled with Malcom. His hateful motives were not explained, and I would have liked some little teasers or some dialogue concerning his blatant hatred for Diana.

Overall, I found the story to be pretty good. It wasn’t the best, but I am definitely intrigued and will be reading the second book. The pacing was good, and the smut was divine. Hopefully, we get some further character development that will help answer some of my lingering questions!

Tbh I am not sure how many stars to give this book.
The book can be so effn hilarious and the story started out well enough. So much so I thought this would be a 4 ⭐️ read! The fmc was brash, smart and BUSY AS A 🐝. Seemed almost extreme but that was her life.

The fmc was living her life without a clue as to what was around her. Maybe a bit self involved? Or overly busy? But she was not super aware.

She is spotted by a demon and he starts following her into her dreams.
He is obsessed. They get to know each other in her dreams. She likes him a lot.

He is a part of a group of four dudes who have been together for centuries. They are being forced to work for the current satan and it bothers them. Bc this satan is mean and crazy. They do all sorts of work but assassins and biz owners are main things.
Oh and these men are in relationships together so the MM is pretty good in this book.

They get a new assignment from satan-to k!ll the fmc. So the story takes a turn from there. Each dude has a reaction to this request. But after on of them “claims” her they are forced to protect her. So they make a plan to kidnap her and fake her death.

At this point, now the fmc has been shocked w the news she has magic and her family are witches. Her reaction is so over the top it is hilarious. Mad at the nonna and aunt for “lying” to her all these years. Like. She couldn’t just sit down and try to understand what was going on? Her stupid reactions don’t stop there.

Nope.

The author then has her go from blowtorch level mad to turned on around the four MC dudes. 💥

It’s as if the fmc is now mentally ill and has no control over her emotions or responses. 🫥
I get she had a ton of upheaval but she comes across as BRATTY AF and makes choices that put her in my TSTL pile. 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️

Am I going to finish this series? Sure. But right now it is getting a 3 star rating thanks to the TSTL FMC. And I will likely only scan the books.

Oh and I would place this in the erotica paranormal genre. The story is there-but the smut is high enough to be erotica. So for those of us that like that-here ya go. ♥️ The erotica part and the funny parts of this book are four ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Before I even say how much I loved this book, can I just say I teared up with the dedication alone?

In Death We Part is a wild ride, to put it mildly. Diana is everything I wish I could be. She is strong, confident, and knows what she wants in life. A genuine role model not just as a curvy FMC, but a FMC in general. She's smart and sassy and takes no one's crap. Unfortunately (or fortunately?) for her, she finds herself kidnapped and at the mercy of four men who have been following her in secret to claim the bounty on her head. Sure, they're alphaholes, but that doesn't mean she backs down and becomes timid. Diana takes charge and they quickly find themselves obsessed with her. And these are no ordinary men and bring some ... surprises to her life.

This book was dark, incredibly dark, but in the best way possible. The humor and banter between the main characters kept the book from being too much. While I put Diana on a pedestal for how incredible she is, it did not overshadow the men at all. I know I shouldn't be able to pick favorites, but if you have read any of my reviews you know it's always the dark twisted one that steals my heart and Ares was no exception. All of the characters have their own distinct personalities and the adventure itself was incredibly fun. The plot wasn't drowned out in spice, and the spice itself was incredibly well done.

I can't believe that was it when I got to the last page, but you know I'm throwing my money into preordering the next one immediately. I have not stopped talking and recommending this book in weeks now. Every group and book club I am in has heard my praises, and I've even converted one of my book clubs to read it this month.

If you've ever considered dabbling in reading about primal play, dubcon, "extra special equipment," RH with sword crossing, praise, dominance/submission, knife play or any other of the other fun content warnings for this, this is a great way to start.

This is the first book in the Dangerous Lovers series, and it’s a dark, PNR, RH with MM; I suggest checking the trigger/content warning.

A little bit of what you’re in for:
💀 Badass plus-size FMC
💀 4 morally gray Alphaholes
💀 Lots of spicy scenes (some with ⚔️)
💀 Knotting
💀 Praise/Degradation
💀 Breeding

Our FMC is Diana, a super sassy, plus-sized woman from Brooklyn who is confident in who she is and as her goals are planned out. Things in her life started getting weird after her 22nd birthday, and when she finds out why her world is turned upside down. To say I love Diana would be an absolute understatement! She’s so confident in her skin that she takes insults and turns them into compliments or tells the person to try harder.

I understand that it’s a RH, and the whole point is you don’t have to pick or have a favorite, but I will always fall for the unhinged but loveable one, and in this case, that’s Ares. I’m not kidding when I say 80% of my highlighted moments are Ares-centered. The other men in the harem are Sabastian, Desmond, and Malcolm, each of them is different, and their relationship with Diana as such is different. These men are not good in any way, shape, or form, and they don’t pretend they are, but they 100% will burn the world down if it means saving Diana.

The world-building in this is excellent, the plot is great, and even though there are a lot of spicy scenes, they don’t feel out of place. I’m beyond in love with the characters because of how well written they are, you get a real sense of who they are, but there is still much to learn about them. There is a bit of mystery around not only Diana but the reason her guys have taken her, and I did not see one of the revels coming.

It, of course, ends on a rather brutal cliffhanger, that has me beyond excited for the next installment.

Becoming a new Witch

This is the first book in The Dangerous Lovers series. Diana is a hard working and playing college girl who just thinks she has been having regular horrible migraines. It isn't until 20% into the book that she's told by her family that she has magical abilities and the migraines are her magic coming through.
There's a lot to love in this book. The fact that Diana is a plus sized young woman who is happy with who she is and flaunts her body. She's gorgeous inside and out. She takes pride in her sexuality and isn't ashamed of who she is.
Then we have the men. Bash is a over protective possessive Alpahole, who claimed her without permission. Then there's Ares, he's a psychotic Greek God who has a hair trigger on his temper, he also has fallen for Diana after first seeing her. Mal is perfectly named, Malcontent, he has a bad temper, he's jealous of the feelings that the other men have for her. He's Hellbound and he feeds off of fear and bad feelings. Desmond is the leader of the gang and an Empath. He also gives off Daddy vibes, he reves Diana's engine off of these vibes alone and he tries to stay away from her, but these men share. They are in a poly relationship before Diana shows up in their lives and they want to continue this relationship. Because of this dynamic this story is very spicy 🌶🌶🌶.
Diana's life has gone from a normal 22 year old to a powerful witch or paranormal. She's now aware of powers that she wasn't before and of beings. She went from not having any male figures in her life to four. Wait no.... there's five... yes, she develops an extra power that allows her to visit with Azazel, her 'guardian angel', he's her safe place until the other's find out.
This book ends on a huge cliffhanger. I can't wait for the next book. This book contains MM, MFM very Spicy.

Oh man, this book was so freaking good; I couldn’t get enough! I didn’t want to put it down. It’s a wild and crazy ride but I loved every second of it! The guys are off the chart’s possessive, and crazy and I am so here for it. Maggie totally knocked it out of the park with this one. I was laughing the whole time, it was hilarious, the humor made it 100 times more entertaining, and I need more!!

Diana is a fantastic fmc, I loved everything about her – she’s a curvy, smart, snarky, sassy, confident bad*$$. Unbeknownst to her, Satan himself has put out a hit on her. Because of this, she finds herself kidnapped by some very interesting guys, one of whom has been stalking her for quite a while and has become obsessed with her. These guys fall so hard so quickly, and they would burn the world down for her. They are super over the top, but she refuses to back down, not letting them walk all over her which is hard as they are very dominant guys. Each guy has a completely different personality but somehow it all works. The guys struggle with sharing her which adds another layer to the story that I really enjoyed. The spice is wonderful, and the mm is done beautifully. I couldn’t get enough. The plot was fun and exciting.

I really enjoyed everything about this book, while it is dark in part, the humor really keeps it from being too dark. There’s a levity that really adds to the wild and crazy ride. If you like paranormal reverse harem, over-the-top men, a great storyline, and dark humor, this is the book for you. I had such a great time following their journey; I highly recommend it if you are in the need of a laugh! I cannot wait for the second book to come out, that cliffy killed me. I wasn’t expecting it and dang if it didn’t rip my heart to shreds!

5 deliciously dark and romantic stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Maggie once again knocked it out of the damn park with this book and I need more of this crazy crew immediately!!

First off, I feel like we all need to thank the gods for a plus-sized heroine with curly hair who would 100% kick all our asses. Diana is a fantastic FMC. She’s a badass, sassy, and confident as fuck.

As for the men, I can’t decide who I love more. Bash is a possessive little British dish and I can’t stop imagining him as Tom Ellis which definitely helps his character. Desmond is both sweet and a massive alphahole that I can’t decide whether I want to slap or cuddle. And Ares, ohh Ares. That son of a bitch is one crazy motherf*cker and I’m so here for it. He’s batshit and I love it!! I’m reserving judgement on Mal for now. I feel bad for him but he’s also caused some major issues for the crew. Plus there’s Azazel whom I’m sure will play a big role next book.

The mystery of who Satan really is, and his eventual reveal, was so freaking good! He makes a fantastic villain and I really didn’t see his true identity coming.

I’m also still salty over that ending. Maggie Bonnet is an evil mastermind and I’m 100% making a voodoo doll of her. This book was so so epic and delicious but that cliffhanger can get in the trash 😭

All in all, if you want a dark romance with demons, gods, magic, spice, sass, and an epic plot then look no further because this is the book for you!!

Give me more of it - a reverse harem where there are no heroes, only morally grey characters with a high ego. The story is mind-blasting and has a good plot and a lot of spiciness in it. It’s the first book I have read by Maggie Bonnet and I have become her fan. The story is written so well versed that you get lost in it and feel yourself drowning in all the emotions and circumstances developing but ends in a significant Cliff hanger that just destroyed me. It’s an intense story that is phenomenal to start with.

When you’ll meet the characters, you won’t be able to stop yourself from loving them irrespective of their flaws. We get to see POVs of all the characters here. Where these four mysterious men are hot as he**, Diana is the Queen of everything. She’s such a fierce and confident character who brings life to their surroundings. In the cat and mouse chase, relations get developed and are shattered at the same time.

It’s a roller coaster ride where the guys are not only attracted to Diana but they love each other and thus give a true meaning to an RH. I loved how they function among each other and how their dynamics take a toll when Diana enters the picture. The amount of magic we see is wow, makes the story more appealing. A lot of questions are in my mind which grew even more with the cliffhanger, I sure am gonna wait for the second book now. I always know it’ll be worth the wait.

Operation Cage Birdie

In Death We Part is the first book in the dark, paranormal reverse harem series, Dangerous Lover. I found it intriguingly mysterious and likened it to a game of chess; pawns moving, knights attacking and the queen wins all.

Diana Rossi, twenty-two year old student, working her way through school as a bartender. Living life with no knowledge of her powers and becomes the target of the underworld at the

Four mysterious and morally gray immortals completely flipped her world upside down, shattering her life, and her security into nothing as they set about to cage her like a little bird.

The debauched men:
Desmond Sinclair, the leader (empath demon)
Sebastian Black, reconnaissance & intel (incubus demon)
Malsolm Knight, the youngest at a couple centuries old (hellbound)
Ares, the psychopath (The God)

Azazel added an intriguing twist to the storyline later on.

From feared and renowned in the underworld to errand boys to Red who is hellbent on turning Hell into an oppressive wasteland with his actions. The four set the chessboard and envelope Diana to help teach her the ways.

Paranormal steam between the sheets heat level? Salaciously delicious and wicked 🖤 🔥😈 MM MF

Ares' internal monologue definitely interjected humor into this dark and steamy read, his inner monologue was on point.

I really enjoy a good PNR, and this book did not disappoint! Maggie's first solo book delivers a great story that peaks your interest with the supernatural, hooks you with amazing spicy scenes (where can I find me an incubus?), and then leaves your heart in your throat for the ending.

Diana is a sassy FMC with a very 'take no crap' New York attitude, who is basically tossed into a world she knows nothing about and either has to sink or swim. I loved her sass, and once she came to terms with who she was, she began to develop into the badass she was fated to be.
Now let us talk about the men in this book. We have the dark, the obsessive, the sexy, the hedonism... and woah the tails! Like, I never knew a prehensile tail would be sexy but here we are. Again.. where can I get me an incubus? I won't put spoilers in here, but let's just say things with these men are naughty, kinky and a bit deranged at times.. and I was there for it all. Even the MM (which isn't usually my favorite), was hot AF. Woah.

Slight spoiler, the book ends on a cliffhanger (gasp!) but its not so bad that you are tossing the book out the window. I am however counting the days till the next book because I cannot wait to see what badassery Diana is gonna do next!

My advice.. just read this book. You won't be disappointed at. all. :)
