Well shitake! Book 3 came to play and stole the show for me. The setup in books 1 and 2 was perfection and really made it worthwhile. Gahhh, why do I have to wait until October for answers!! I need them now... my heart is hurting and is in the palm of your hand. Please treat it with care, unlike one hot man in this story. Sob!
Red is back at it. So much angst and emotionally trying moments. Our hearts as readers were put through the ringer for sure. It's all going to be worth it in the end, right?!?!!!!?
Dante, my love. You won me over and I'll love you with my life. I've always had a soft spot for Enzo and Cain knows he can ravish me any day. The one who shall be left nameless - well he knows and he better make it all better. Kiss it, dude.

Omg yall. I KNEW since book one what happened was coming, but it still gutted me. And I can't talk about it since it's a huge spoiler, so it's just me and all my angsty thoughts until October. Whyyyyyy do I always do this to myself?! I seriously need to learn one of these days, right?
But this is by far the best book in the series. The angst, the emotions and feels, the suspense, the sexy times, all of it was ramped up! And your girl is allllll here for it, trust me! I didn't expect Dante to be my new favorite. With Enzo and Cain following very closely behind. The other one.. he knows what he did.😒

This is a fantastic series and this book was another fabulous read! Great characters amazing story and a killer cliffhanger this book ticked all my boxes! The angst the emotions the suspense the steam!!! This series is a must read! Trust me you need it in your life! And that ending!!! I need the next book now!!!

This series keeps getting better! I love the adult edge of the story, and I can't help loving Dante and Lor. I'm so amused by their functional/dysfunctional relationship. The twists and turns will leave you wanting more, I can't wait to sink my teeth into the final book!

If you are into Reverse Harem, this series is a MUST read!!! Trust me!!!
This series only gets better and better and I am wondering how things will get uncomplicated, (if ever!) and not only in the romance part, cause the storyline is explosive in so many levels!!!
There is suspense, intensity, action, a badass and feisty heroine and four alpha males who are having the ability to make you drool all over the place. What else a girl can ask???
And after this killer cliffy, I am really wondering how this story will get untangled cause things are pretty messy and complicated in so many different aspects!!!
Blood will be shed.

The story picked up exactly where it left us in the second book...
Sawyer and Rejects's plan is going to hell when Sawyer is seeing her brother under the enemy's hands beaten and broken...
Now, she is forced to marry the enemy, even though she is having a soft spot for her future husband...
Unfortunately for Dante and Enzo, Sawyer is not about to give up her plan and her Rejects, she just need to bind her time until she can take her brother back!!!
But in order to do it, she needs to make four different men to work together when they are hating each other's guts!!! Will their soft spot for her make them compliant or they are about to raise hell in order to have her by themselves???

I really love this story!!!
I like how the author have married mafia aspect and gang life in one complicated compination!!!
I like the intensity of the storyline!!!
I love that these two sets of men are from different side of the tracks cause this fact is giving an intriguing twist in the plot...
I love how each one of these men is with Sawyer and how she is able to tame them when she is untamed by them!!!
And of course, the sex scenes are pure fire!!!

I have read some reverse harems but nothing is like this one and I am totally daring you to enter the world of Black Creek with the gang and mafia wars and its own Reaper!!!
You will be surprised by the talent that R.A. Smyth is packing!!! I can guarantee that!!!

Gangsters, Made Men and the Vigilante
Are you kidding me right now!? Ending of Chapter 18 - Boom! I did not see that coming but felt it almost as soon as this character came into the storyline.
This book takes off right away where book one left off. Immediately we are engrossed in Dante and the steam is off the charts between him and Sawyer. When Sawyer decides she has had enough of waiting and she needs to get her brother back, she enacts a plan. This plan is riding on the fact that she introduces all Cain, Oliver, Dante and Enzo to each other to work together.
When no one trusts each other, stakes are high and when the plan finally goes into motion, they are met with results they definitely did not see coming. Sawyer is laying her heart out on the line for each guy to see and when the unexpected situation arises, not everyone will feel like they did before.
The ending came and went way too fast, and we are left with a brutal cliffhanger. Will the guys be able to work together? What does this new situation really entail, will it result in changing things forever with Sawyer? Will the Antonelli line live on after this is all over?
I LOVED this book. I felt like I can't comment too much without giving things away, but this is the BEST book in the series so far! I was on the edge of my seat the entire time and I could not put it down. SO much happened in this book and yet so little at the same time. I need book four to come quick. I have conflicting emotions about how all of that went down in the end. I will need a certain guy, ahemm..... to get on his knees for forgiveness for suuureeeee.

Since the ending of Murder & Mayhem, I was gagging for the next book and counting down the days because how could I not?! This picks up right where we left off and we finally got to see Sawyer's two worlds collide and while we still have a long way to go, I can sense the enemies to bros potential! 🤌🏻 I might also have a slight preference for the mafia men at the moment given how some characters who shall not be named dropped the ball in this book, I'm not usually a lover of possessiveness and violence but watching Enzo and Dante storm in there had me screaming! 😍 There was a pretty big plot twist in here that at first I was hoping for but soon after regretted lol and tbh we're gonna continue dealing with the repercussions of it even as we head into book 4. I have hope that it'll work out but that doesn't make it any easier to read! 😫
Sawyer continues to be the perfect balance of a ruthless yet compassionate queen and we FINALLY got the Pacific Prep appearance I have been waiting for! The guys' reactions were just as entertaining as I thought they would be and I'm really hoping that we'll get another cameo in the last book even if it is small! 🤞🏻 And once again, the ending of this book has me SO PUMPED for the next and final book, Chaos & Carnage. This was one of those cases where I'm definitely stressed out but I'm also excited to see how everyone responds to the fallout, I'm also just ready for everyone to finally see what Sawyer is really made of, let the chaos and carnage begin! 😏😈

This series has become one of my FAVORITE RH series EVER! MY GOD! Crazy, insane action. Twisted, suspenseful stuff. And just when I think my two couples (gangsters and mafia) are redeemable and things might head towards a smooth road...NOPE. Gotta throw a wrench in there. I honestly don't know how Sawyer remains as levelheaded as she does. She kicks butt and rationalizes everyone's emotions. DAMNNNNN. I did love how devoted her men were and the way they put her and her brother as their number one priority. My heart swooned all over the place. The biggest change I saw was in Dante because I feel like he's becoming more human every day he spends with Sawyer. GREAT SERIES. GREAT BOOK! Can't wait to see what happens next because I'm dying with these cliffhangers!

RA Smyth is becoming one of my favorite and least favorite authors. Her storytelling is top notch but I think she has become a tad too good at her cliffhangers. She seems to enjoy giving us one last oomf a little too much. Thankfully this cliffhanger was not as bad as the last book so I like her a bit more than last time (for now).
I adore this world that she has created, and especially enjoyed the overlap between the characters from her series. It’s just enough that you don’t have to read the others to understand the references but I would highly recommend the other series (it’s also a complete series).
I am especially LOVING the differences and drama between the guys. I know they are going to be the most entertaining part during the next book and I cannot wait to see how this works out.
I adore this world that she has created, and especially enjoyed the overlap between the characters from her series. It’s just enough that you don’t have to read the others to understand the references but I would highly recommend the other series (it’s also a complete series).

I have been so lucky to get the ARC for every book in this series and it is SO GOOD.
Sawyer and her 4 men try to conquer their mission of making the streets legit, but once Sawyer sees that Dante’s family has kidnapped her little brother and visibility hurt him, she has no choice but to marry in so she can get him out.
The twists and turns were insane and the suspense in this one kept me on the edge of my seat. Definitely a huge cliffhanger at the end and I can’t wait for the 4th book!

I loved it! Wow! Picking up right where we left off, this book is action-packed on every page! Unlikely alliances, surprises, this book has all the feels! But oh that cliffy! The next book can’t come soon enough!

No. No way. It can’t end this way!! I need the next book asap.
Oliver needs to get his head out of his butt. I get that he has some mixed feelings, but after everything Red and him have been through- you’d think he’d talk it out and be open about it. But.. I trust Rachel has everything under control.
This series, so far, has been absolutely incredible. R.A. Smyth has managed to make sure that Red and her guys keeps your attention. I am beyond grateful to be able to get this series as ARCs.

Fast paced, action-packed and filled will twisty, turny moments of suspense, RA Smyth took us on a wild ride in Damaged & Deadly, yet another amazing addition to the highly additive Black Creek series.
While reading this first two books in the series I kept thinking “I need more Dante, I need more Dante”!! Up until this point Rachel was just teasing us with less than satisfying snippets of the mysterious and intriguing mafia Prince. Well, I finally got what I wanted because this book is very much Dante’s time to shine. Dante’s complexity is part of what makes his character so intriguing and I suspect we’ve only just begun to see his character evolve and grow.
Intelligently written and perfectly paced, the book seamlessly transitions between the various POV’s adding depth and dimension to the story. There are some surprising moments in this book, including an unexpected reunion that has emotions running wild. The spicy scenes are hot and plentiful and our girl Sawyer is definitely capitalizing on the fact that she has four men vying for her attention.
D&D ends on the most brutal cliffhanger yet! Is it October 1st yet? Absolutely brilliant series!

Damaged & Deadly is the third book in the Black Creek Series and OMG I AM OBSESSED!!!
I don’t want to give anything away, but what I will say is that I seriously loved this book so so much!! I think it may even be my favourite of the series so far!
The character development is solid, the plot twists blew my mind and the spice was HOT HOT HOT!! 🔥🔥🔥
I already loved Cain and Oliver but this book has just made me love them so much more!! In saying that though, a certain someone has a lot of begging to do 😤 He knows what he did 😒

I can’t get enough of this series!!!!!
Red has easily become one of my favorite fmc’s. She’s tough as nails but she also has the biggest heart. How could you not love her?! Then you’ve got her harem of grumpy guys. They’re all so possessive but you can see how much their love for her has changed them. I love seeing how they soften towards her.
Dante and Red together are delicious together! I knew it would be good but holy hell I wasn’t expecting THAT.
Red struggles to work between the two sides of her life, her gangsters and her mafia men. Four possessive men that want nothing to do with each other but have to learn to put their issues aside for Red.
This book was full of angst, and action and loads of steam.
I have so many more questions after this book and I’m waiting very impatiently for book 4!

Just when I think I can’t love Sawyer any more than I already do, @rasmythauthor has to drop THAT ending on us for Damaged & Deadly 😱

And book three finally sees her two worlds colliding, bringing all her guys to the table - Dante, Enzo, Cain, and Oliver. I love them all individually but combined? It’s drama and chaos and alllll the good kinds of tension😈
This book was jam packed with drama and revelations but the ending … best believe I’ll be counting down to book four!!

Shut the front door! I didn't think this series could get any better then it did . But boy was I surprised ! Red and her merry men are everything!!! So many twist and turns you dont see coming ! And the cameo was everything ! But that cliff hanger was ugh! The book hangover is real! Run dont walk to read this!!!! 5 stars isn't enough 1000% recommend!!!!!

Oh man, this series is un-put-downable! It is so wonderful, and the series continues to get better and better. I can’t say enough good things – just go read it! This is my favorite book yet. It had ALL the feels!
Last we knew Sawyer and Dante got married and things had just gone to h*ll. This book picks up right where we left off – they are still in the church and things are chaotic. Sawyer now has to form a plan to get her brother back, the question is how will she go about taking on the Antonelli’s? I’m glad that there was no lag time in between. From the first page, I was yet again thrown into their world only to get lost between the pages. Put it down? No thank you, I needed to know what happened on the next page, and the next. RA’s writing is so fantastic, I can never get enough.
It's dark, it’s gritty, it’s raw. It's full of action from page one. The emotions poured from the pages and wrapped me in an emotional rollercoaster that I didn’t want to get off. There’s suspense, delicious spice, and raw emotion; it’s twisted and a bit cruel. If you liked the first two books in this series, you HAVE to read this book. If you haven’t started – this is not a standalone, you must read the first two books.

This series just keeps getting better and better! The emotions flew off the pages and I honestly felt like I had a front row seat to all the action that went down and was even splattered in the blood of Reds enemies.
Sawyers worlds have collided and the testosterone being from around could honestly get you pregnant without even trying! With a plan to rescue Sawyers brother but no one trusting each other are they going to be able to pull it off or will it blow up in all of their faces? I can tell you I am here for all the tension and sexy scenes it brings.
Dante has left me with my emotions all up in the air with how much I have fallen in love with him and I could honestly say I would die a happy girl if I was sandwiched between him and Enzo.
October seems like so far away now but I guess the gorgeous covers will keep me company until I can get my greedy hands on Chaos & Carnage

This series is amazing! I could not put it down, the books just keep getting better and better. This book picks up right where Murder and Mayhem left off. Last we knew Sawyer and Dante got married and things just got crazy. The cliffhanger had me like 🫠👀 .. October cannot come fast enough! I definitely recommend this series if you like dark RH gang romance.

Soo much inner monologue it has me falling asleep. The story is decent enough. But it’s not a lot of action, and the twists are predictable. Nothing is just like “oh shit, what??” I’m kinda bored, but invested. I was contemplating reading the two prior story lines but I’m just not feeling it anymore.

Another fantastic book in this Black Creek series! Oh the secrets revealed in this will have you on the edge of your seat with awe!! Sawyer is absolutely stuck between a rock and a hard place with her men. Gangsters on one side mafia on the other…gahhh I love conflict and possessiveness! This book and cliffhanger have me rushing for book 4! If you haven’t read this, what are you waiting for?! Do check the trigger warnings!

I don't know what Rachel is doing, but I could not set this book down! It was nonstop action from the beginning. So much happens within this book, yet none of it felt rushed! She got me twice and made me tear up, which was not nice :P. Now, let's talk about that cliffhanger. I do not like it, I'm just gonna pretend like it didn't happen, ok? >.< I don't know what I'm going to do until book 4 comes out.

This series is becoming one of my absolute favorites!
Sawyer is forced to marry Dante, the plan to take down the Antonelli’s is stopped and the Reaper Rejects cannot exact their revenge. Sawyer thought she was going to be walking into her happily ever after with Cain and Oliver, but she is walking into the Devil’s lair.
This book was filled with a lot of answers to questions that we didn’t know we had. Action packed and of course it couldn’t end without the biggest cliffhanger of the series.
Throughout this third book I have grown to love Dante and you understand him so much more. Enzo gets to act on his feelings he has had for many years towards Sawyer. Oliver is struggling with new developments and towards the end he pulls back from Sawyer. Cain, oh Cain, how I love your dark and broodiness but when you let your walls down you have a huge heart. Sawyer of course is badass personified and she truly doesn’t allow any of her men to push her down. Cannot love this book or characters more.
